Course Curriculum Overview
I was passionate about Forensic science so I choose this program, Though I am further not pursuing career in forensic science. Faculty: students ratio was not adequate, almost all Faculties were Ph.D. Holder, their teaching style was not very unique. Despite some of the issues mentioned above Exams were conducted on time, and it is not difficult to pass the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees structure included tuition fees, Examination fees, Laboratory fees, etc. It was 10000/Semester in the 2014 batch but there was a hike of around 10 percent to the next batch. There was not any scholarship program from the college side But you can apply for the State scholarship program.
Campus Life
The college organizes an annual fest, sports day, and some other activity that usually takes place once a year. Every department have its library with some basic books and journal and University has a well-equipped Central library that provides access to a wide range of books, journals, and other reference materials. The library has a collection of textbooks, reference books, research papers, and journals, both in print and digital format.
Admission
I did my graduation from Sam Higginbottom University of agriculture technology and Sciences (SHUATS) in Forensic Science. Eligibility Criteria for this program is 12th in Science background which is most reasonable and accessible to most of students. The application form for admission is easily available on the University website (http://shuats.edu.in/) with very minimal fees. The reservation benefits are clearly stated on the college's website.
