DYPIT, Pimpri. Review from all perspectives

For my department (computer engineering ) and others also, this is one of the good colleges. To admit, the Percentile factor affects. My two bros already were in this college and are placed in good companies. The faculties here are more than enough for several admitting students. Also, for each group of 20 students, there's a teacher guardian. Also for each department (approx. 300 students) 30 to 40 teachers are there (without adding lab assistant and others). Also, each department has a HOD. Well, the faculty here is well-educated, most of them are Ph.D. holders, and the remaining is min. of master-level degree holders. The teacher is experienced 8 to 13 years, and most of them has developed their way of teaching, making us understand easily. Term Exams are taken twice a year, at the end of each semester. But, unit tests are organized more often by the college, and faculty teachers also organize their tests. They are fairly difficult to pass but you can pass it by studying a bit.

Various companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Capgemini, TCS, etc. visit the campus for internships and placements for the posts of developers, etc. In college every year, you are supposed to make a project. In the final year, you should submit 3 mini and 1 mega project in your field.

The college has an identity in the field of placements. Here, after 3rd semester, you will start grabbing internships if you focus on your career we'll. It is not that important if you are having a skill in a particular field. Various biggest companies like Microsoft, Amazon, tech Mahindra, TCS, Capgemini, Samsung, and over 500 companies visit the campus for placement. The college has its placement department. Here average package is 8 to 9 LPA. The maximum package the previous year is 44 LPA. A minimum of 3 to 4 LPA is offered. A maximum of 75 percent of students here get placed. So, yeah placement is way good than an avg. Colleges. Also, there are mentors in college who provide the correct direction to you according to your skills.

The Fees generally are one of the most considerable factors. Well, in DIT, you need not worry much about fees. On the official website of the college and you can check the fee structure here. On the same website, you will find scholarship options. But for a year all college fees will be 1,17,000 Rs. (Excluding hostel, mess, etc.) This is the same for all four years of your UG course. Now, if you choose a college hostel and mess per year you have to pay 2.5 lacs to 3 lacs per year according to AC or NON AC. This is for two-seaters. Fees will be less if you choose to be three-seaters. So, total fees will be 1,17,000 + 2,50,000 = 3,67,000 Rs. Per year. Plus your expenditures.

Here, campus life is pretty good. Though the campus is getting developed. Here, each department has its own fest and tech fest. Like, Tecnovatia, Innovation, DJ nights, and all. They arrange various functions and all other stuff. These fests are conducted in April and May. The college has a central Library having approx. 20,000 books in it. Also, various journals are kept there. Plus computers and the Internet is also provided. You are provided with free internet on campus. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with centralized ACs. There are many clubs like Devcrafts, Sanskriti, Parakram, etc.(I just couldn't remember 3 of them but they are around 20 and they will approach students as you admit to college. They arrange various programs like days, DJ nights, events, hackathons, coding competitions, and technical and nontechnical events. When you admit to college you will find that you are getting developed in all directions.

To admit to this college(we generally refer to it as DIT Pimpri), first, you should clear MHT-CET with around 95 percentile (for computer engineering ). You can also try by Jee mains score, but for that, you will need around 90%ile. Also according to your reservation cutoff can vary so before admission check that. You can admit online from the college website: (https://engg.dypvp.edu.in). But you have to present physically to submit documents. or you can visit the college. (I preferred visiting the college as it helps to understand the scene) . Yes, as per your caste reservation, seat and fee reservation option are available. Also, for defense, PWD, EWS, etc. reservation is available. You just have to submit proper documents proving your authority about your claim.
