Management of college is strict on some disciplinary things
There is no proper parking area so parking difficulties occurs

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose maths because it used to be one of my favourite subjects and I also dream of a career in the banking field. At Nirmala, the student-teacher ratio is very good. We have separate teachers for each subject. They are all young and energetic. They prepare their portions well previously which is evident from their classes. The exams were not regular in the beginning due to the corona pandemic. Now it's fine and results are published on time. One who covers at least half of the syllabus would not find it hard to pass.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 2000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since all seats in maths are based on merit or sports quota fees are not so high. There are also various scholarships available. I didn't receive any since I belong to the general category. Placement cells function well in the campus. And so far we had 2 or more placement drives in our course and many got placed

Campus Life :

No tech fest was held in the academic year. Many fests got cancelled during our academic time due to corona so I am not well aware of them. Sports day was held. Football, basketball, badminton etc matches are held. And students of the college also get to participate in intercollege competitions. Prizes were won for tug of war etc. Arts Day is held every year. Talented students get to participate in Kaloltsav. There are many clubs functioning actively like nature club, dance club, debate club etc There are also organizations like NSS and NCC

Admission :

Admission to Nirmala college is based on merit. There are also management seats available. I applied to this college via allotment. Nirmala was my first choice in all colleges that falls into mg University. +2 marks were considered the basis of merit. And i got an admission in the second allotment. Since in maths there are only merit seats or quotas for sports the fees will be around 2000. I think the admission process is fine.

Companies like TCS (3.33 LPA), Accenture (3.44 LPA), ICICI prudential life insurance (2.85 LPA), Intellipaat (7.25 LPA), Goan institute international consociation of education, Arvind fashions (2.66 LPA), Tenzotech (2.4 LPA), Chegg India (3.6 LPA) offer placements. This is the placement list of 2024. Here 7.25 LPA is the highest package. Companies place students in their companies based on personal interviews and tests. Only students with no supply at the time of applying for this placement can appear for tests and interviews. Near 50 percent students got placements and many other students opt for higher education and other jobs.
