After doing bds we get internal quota for mds

Because this course has good opportunities ahead, So I chose this course. The faculty there is nice very helpful and humble. Term exams are held 2 times a year then the professional exams. The professors are quite helpful and motivating.

Internships Opportunities

An internship for one year is done in MAIDS only with a stipend of 23500. Externs are also appointed, Good learning atmosphere and good patient flow. Many workshops and research works opportunities are provided by professors.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 4000 or less than that we submit professional exams fee separately. There are many scholarship programs for students whose parents' income are less than 2 lakhs per annum. Books are also provided to those students free of cost by the library.

Campus Life

Fest DHM dental health mela is held every year in October. Many books and journals are available in the library which can be issued. Classrooms and labs have all the necessary amenities. Sports events are held and anyone can participate. We have a student council in which the president and treasurer are chosen through the election in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Bed, chairs, almirah, table, fans everything is present in the hostel. The meal is average and not many options are available. One has to fill out forms for a hostel and it is accommodated based on the distance of your home from college.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is 10+2 with biology, physics, and chemistry. NTA releases application forms for neet (National eligibility entrance Test). MCC does the counseling for colleges. The application fee is around 1500. Reservation for ews, obc, sc, and St.

Placement Experience:

From third year student can practice their privately. But officially jamia provides 8 months internship program for medical student and also for other courses. Recently jamia pay an intern approx 31000? per month for internship. Almost 70% students got easily placement in jamia. My plan after getting degree I'll go for masters in dental in i wants to become an MDS oral surgeon.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to do MBBS.My score in neet UG was 607 but the cut off was too high so I decided to go for BDS and I wanted to do it from the top college of India and it led me to choose MAIDS. BDS is a very challenging course but at the end it pays well. Bds not only involves study about dental anatomy/histology/pathology but we also get to study about general anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology etc. So overall the curriculum is quite interesting if you are already interested in medicine. We have three exams in first year, two internals and a professional exam. The exams are quite difficult

Eligibility is based on Neet score. The cut off goes around 27k rank through DU quota. The cut off can vary You can apply for the college after giving neet through mcc councelling The admission process is quite tiring as first you have to give neet and then do the counselling and when you are alloted the college you get about 4-5 days to submit all your documents which includes a list of documents and three copies of each document...Read More
