In my view AIIMS PATNA is a fantastic institution with all the basic necessities and in the path of meeting the standards of a Institute of National Importance . The college management is very much Co-operative and the college runs very smoothly without any student Union. Every College has some bad things too as there are always bad with goods but in our institution at present there are no bad and the college is progressing at a a surprising speed and we are insightful to become the best Healthcare provider in the country in the near future.

I took AIIMS , All India Entrance Test 2015 I scored 111 correct responses and a total percentile of 98.8. I opted this college for two reasons 1) Out of the two options I had in counseling i.e.. Patna & Raipur , Patna was a better option . 2) Other reason being I am from Bihar and it was close to my home also other than AIIMS New Delhi all other AIIMS have the same education standards . In fact at Patna you get the best clinical exposure getting to see most variety of cases .

The MBBS course is a bit tough as well as interesting , it depends on the way you take it . Along with intelligence you need hard work , the course focuses on how to make you familiar with basics on human body and various diseases and teaches you the clinical part of various diseases and treatment modalities with a very good patient exposure . Followed by a 6 month internship after the completion of the course. Our college focuses a lot on Research and at present about 128 projects are going on the teachers here are very much helpful so that you could take in ICMR as well as private projects.

Yes being a medical college of course it provides internship of 6 months giving you chance to sit in each department . At present the interns are paid an amount of 18000/- per month for their services.

The placements is not guaranteed by the college as they make you perfect doctors and you have a option to either practice in a private clinic or else join some institute for resident ship. The interns could join the same institute once they clear the interview for JRship , there's no such preference for the internal students

Being an Institute of National Importance we harbor students from all over India following different cultures and relegion and we celebrate each one of them with great pomp and joy and make our college journey memorable. The events listed are as :- 1) Republic Day 2) Saraswati Puja 3)Shri Krishna Janmashtami 4)Onam 5)Dandiya Night 6) College Foundation Day Celebrations on 25th September every year it is basically academic oriented. With the various scholarship being awarded. 7)Diwali 8) Christmas 9)ZAGON -Intracollege Sports Fest. 10)KAIZEN - The annual college fest celebrated between Feb-Mar Every year is a 3-4 day event which comprised of various cultural, Literary , academic events and star stuffed events too , it's grand very grand.

AIIMS being a Central Government is totally free . Provides free education and lodging. And requires an affordable cost for fooding .

It's a free of cost institute and offers no such facility but the students could avail the same by undertaking various Research projects proving STS (Short Term Scholarship) and could also avail various scholarships offered by their respective state government for meritorious students .

The campus life at AIIMS PATNA is a beautiful one giving you memories to cherish , being a part of every Celebrations coming to know different cultures , traditions and the most important coming to taste different foods is something which gives you kick of life. Getting to know such wonderful people , a healthy senior-junior relationship a mutual understanding between faculties and students is what makes it a perfect campus . In each batch of students , there are almost 60-65 boys and 35-40 girls . There are a lot of extracurricular activities in the college comprising of sports , literary , cultural and academic activities. We have a very good lab set which are very functional and have a very good set of lab technicians.

The hostel facility is excellent here with single rooms being allowed to each student , high speed free Wi-Fi service , lift in the hostels and a common TV room on each floor . Each room is provided with a bed with mattress , a chair and table and a godrej almirah making it totally perfect. The hostel also has close proximate indoor and outdoor sports fields. The mess food is nutritious and OK and you could visit Canteen for desired food items.

The college is as of now a new institution not completely established , started in 2012 the college is yet to deliver it's first set of doctors to the society our founder MBBS batch 2012 . So the alumni question is not valid . But talking about the seniors they are very much friendly and helpful they guide you through out your college life and are very much helpful in the initial days . Especially it's important to mention that AIIMS PATNA is actually a Ragging free campus .

The exam structure is very effective as well as a hectic one there are two terminals consisting of theory papers , practical and Viva that are conducted without any gap. Besides the terminals there are Pre-professionals and Professional exams and the Professionals consist of two theory for each subject and the two subject papers are separated by a one day gap followed by Practicals and the Viva which are conducted by Externals.

As I was getting coaching for Medical Entrance in Aakash Delhi , therefore it was obvious for me to know about various medical entrances . And through the same process I filled the online application for AIIMS entrance . Later I got the admit card online and appeared for the test which was conducted online in the year 2015. After the results were out , according to my rank I was called for the first counseling itself at AIIMS New Delhi where all my documents were verified and then I was let into the auditorium where the counseling process where going on and the status of different AIIMS seats was being shown. When my turn came I was left with Patna & Raipur as options , I opted for Patna and was given a seat allotment letter and then I paid the admission fees at the counter of concerned college and got the brochure listing further documents required during admission at the Institute. Later I appeared for admission at Patna on the given date and a medical examination was done and documents were verified and the hostel allotment etc was done and my admission was finalized.

Being a budding institution the group of faculties here are excellent with their teaching and Management skills . They are very much student friendly and they guide you through every aspect of your college life be it studies or other Co curricular activities .
