- I like the campus of my college very much, The campus is very big and the environment is also very good.
- There are many festivals held in AIIMS and those of the college are also held with great pomp and show.
Dislikes
- AIIMS is a very popular college in India, all the medical students work hard to get admission here or due to reservation of seats
- All facilities have been provided in AIIMS Patna, but sports club facilities have not been provided or the mess food needs to be improved a bit
Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken BSc nursing course which I was not happy with at first but now I have adjusted and see that there is no problem in my course. Along with knowledge, I also get a government job or salary.
Fees and Financial Aid
My courses fee is 3100 per year, hostel fee is also included, mess fee is 4100 per month extra. There are many scholarships in AIIMS Patna for the students who belong to lower caste or have highest marks in 12th, they also get scholarship. Under the 4th year course of BSc Nursing, there is an internship of 6 months in which get a stipend of Rs 13100 per month. Or after completing the course, contact job is also provided.
Campus Life
My experience at AIIMS Patna is quite good and I am getting to learn a lot. There are many festivals in our college, our students not only enjoy but also improve their personality, they are also able to improve their knowledge or communication skills by participating in extra curricular activities. I am an introverted person or I have improved my personality after coming to college.The central library of our college is also very big where many books are available and it remains open all the time for the students.
Hostel Facilities
BSc nursing students have to live with 2 people in 1 room it's sharing room . Staying in hostel is compulsory and you are not able to get rented room or PG.The food in the mess is average and the breakfast is mostly time South Indian. Mess timing is 8 am to 9 am in morning, 1 PM to 2 PM lunch time, 5pm to 6pm snacks time, 8 PM to 9 PM dinner time
Admission
Eligibility for BSc nursing course should be 12th pass with 60% marks or 12th in biology stream. There is no age limit. Admission form has to be registered from AIIMS website and after few days final registration has to be done. If you belong to any reservation category, your application fee will also be reduced or you will also get reservation benefit in the rank list.in this course of exam be conducted by computer based. Total marks of this exam 100 , 30 marks biology, 30 marks physics, 30 marks chemistry, and 10 marks reasoning and general knowledge. Paper difficulty level is easy to moderate.
Faculty
All the teachers of AIIMS Patna are here. In Aiims Patna there are more teachers due to being South Indian and sometimes there is a language issue among them and students, if you ignore it then everything is fine. All teachers are not the same, all teachers have different methods of teaching, everyone teaches in their own way, which makes them understand the students. Being medical students, we also had to do practicals which our professor coordinated very well. Revision test is done or Viva is also taken in a much better way. It is very difficult to pass any medical course because we have to study a lot. Interaction of teacher or students is also very good, if students have any problem then they can interact with the teacher, they can listen to the problem or solve it.
