1st Year in AIIMS Patna

Yes the curriculum is very good and from the very first year you are visiting the hospital for early clinical exposure which is very interesting as a first year student to experience how the hospital works very closely. The course is updated and focused to produce a competent doctor.

1 year Internship is mandatory in MBBS after 4.5 years of course in our country. So this institute being no exception you have to do 1 year PAID internship in which you get around 23k-26k( as far as I know) per month which is very good.

The fees of the course are very low; for the whole course, it is around 6k, and the average mess fees are around 4k, which is also very low. There are many scholarship opportunities also not directly provided by the institution but they regularly gives update about various scholarships in which students can apply for

The annual fest 'Kaizen' which is the largest fest of north india and it is week long fest and there is zagon which Is a separate sports fest. The senior junior relationship is very good. The library is very big and the book collection is outstanding. All the major sports facilities are available and there numerous clubs for extra curricular activities.

For the first 6 months you have to stay outside the campus in a hostel arranged by the institution and buses will be provided. Then you will get single rooms inside the campus which is worth it. The hostel fees comes around 15 rupees per month. And in which you get a table ,chair ,bed ,wardrobe, shelf but you don't get attached bathroom but thats not a problem.

First of all you have to qualify neet with a good rank as it is a AIIMS. after counseling you get alloted AIIMS patna then you have come to the college (no online admission) for admission process.. reservation benefits are there for OBC, SC, and ST students. In the admission process there is just a medical examination then you have to come and join after the session starts which is nearly after 15- 20 days.

The best thing about the college is the academics. They are very serious about the academics. All the professors are very hardworking and are always on time. Here you are not going to face any problem regarding academics. This is due to our director Dr. GK Pal who is a disciplinarian
