Thing I liked in vaagdevi college of engineering is campus was very good, campus life was awesome faculty was good and teaching was good

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer science engineering to go into the software field I am interested in software so I took CSE. The faculty was very good they are teaching well many of the faculty qualification was Ph.D. exams was held after every six months it was good if we read it is very easy to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is for every year we have to pay 86000 and we have to pay jntuh fees it was good I am getting fees reimbursement in the category of SC so we do not need to pay fees we should only pay jntuh fees I am also getting merit scholarship of 25000 every year it was very good to encourage students.

Campus Life

We have an annual fest every year recently we celebrated silver jubilee we enjoyed a lot of life at the campus was very good it was very peace we are enjoying a lot in the campus it was ragging free campus in Library many books are available we can take any book from the library sports and extra curricular activities was held in our college.

Admission

After completion of my intermediate, I took the course of eamcet course for 2 months then I wrote the exam and I got a nice rank in my eamcet so I selected Vaagdevi College of Engineering and joined this college.

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
