Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue BTech in information technology and BIT Durg is one of the most prestigious institutes in Chhattisgarh. Faculty to student ratio is 1:60. Exam times differed due to covid.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Mostly service-based companies come for the recruitment like Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware, josh technology, Capgemini, and also other local companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is very affordable, roughly around 37000 rupees per semester so it takes around 75000 rupees per year which is far more affordable than other private institutions placement is fine, service-based companies visited.

Campus Life

The annual fest happens called ojas, every year in the month of June, and many other tech fests hackathons, and coding events are organized. Many social groups like NSS and photography clubs are also present.

Admission

Admission through the CGPET exam. You can find application form details and other application details on the website of CSVTU Eligibility of course is you have to be 12th pass. The admission process is only available offline and can be improved if provided online.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET. Cut-off for JEE Mains isn't really high here, 75 percentile can easily land you here with computer science branch. I don't really know much about the JEE Mains cut-off.
