Remarks

College is management by a politician who himself is not educated. His focus is just to collect money as a result the college has still a unheard

Entrance Preview

It was through Merit.Initially the college was located in RT nagar which was very close(around 5 kms ) from my place. That was the main reason for choosing the college. But the college got shifted by 2nd year and it was not informed to the students during the time of admission

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The Course structure was good. Each semester there was at least 1 major programming languages introduced to us and the difficulty level gradually increases every year.. The first year was divided into chemistry and physics cycle. 2nd year.basics of programming (C,C++.Data structures,ADA) 3rd Year(Operating systems, networking) 4th Year(Java,J2ee,Advanced Networking)

Internships Opportunities

No they don't provide internship Some of the students had taken Education loans to complete education The college didn't provide any general stipend and they were just concentrating on collecting fees Apart from it they used to college huge amount for the fest which they used to conduct which was not that great either

Placement Experience

0.5

Nil placements. absolutely no placements not appointed a placement officer as well Not even bothered to give guide students technical/aptitude so that the candidate is ready to enter the market However during the time of admission a lengthy demo/ was given to the parents on the placement services provided which was complete lie Both Parents and Students fell into the trap

College Events

0.5

Cultural fest and Technical fest were conducted every alternate years It was fun where we could showcase our talents either culturally or technically It was conducted t the end of every year. and was a fun filled event where all the students from all departments used to participate

Fee Structure And Facilities

During those days the fees ranged anything between (9k ) every semester which was not expensive when compared to the current fees structure. Apart from it college bus fees and exams fees were separately taken Library would provide 2 books per semester for a single student

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing was provided. There was no loan since there was no option left No encouraging rewards for the semester toppers

Campus Life

3.5

Campus was huge.It was located around 12-15 kms from Chikkajala.. It gender ration was 100:30;//100 males and 30 girls Washrooms was not properly maintained the pass percentage decreased every year. Students from all ethnicity, religions were encouraged Ragging was banned

Hostel Facilities

3

I used to travel from my home as it was around 27 kms from my home The girls hostel was located in Yelahanka and was pretty good Boys hostel which was located 2 kms from the college was not that good Unhygienic mess and 3 people sharing rooms hardly any students stayed in the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

We our self have formed Whats app and facebook groups apart from that there is nothing the college has provided. A last visit to the college was still more disappointing as the college still remained the same and has not even improved a inch. I choose a wrong college

Exam Structure

Labs were designed in a professional manner. Students could enter the lab and use it as and when he/she needed Exams were conducted in a proper way following the guidelines of VTU Sufficient number of computers for the students.. Exams dates were not announced at the start of the semester

Admission

CET I scored 12.5 k ranking and opted for computer science course in SRSIT. This was the 2nd round and had opted for some other college initially.Had scored 78% in PCMB in my 2nd PUC

Faculty

1.5

Not at all impressive.. No experience lectures who had in depth technical language. we are not made market ready Lectures were not serious and was not keen in making students understand the subjects Not an attempt to complete the syllabus by the teachers not concerned about students

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Placement Experience:

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho, etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
