My collage life in POORNIMA UNIVERSITY

The course curriculum is based according to the curriculum of the University itself. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:15-1:20 which is quite good. Moreover, all the faculty are PhD holders and their teaching skills are very good and effective. Mid-term which is the second most important exam after the RTU examination is held at every period of approximately 1.5-2 months. There are two mid-term examinations in each semester and the paper is quite tough.

There are many multinational companies like Ultra tech, make my house, magic bricks, etc which provide many intership opportunities to students. Moreover, the college faculty also asks for a PORTFOLIO form from students to get them placement opportunities.

Placements of the University are good. Students are eligible for their placement from the seventh semester. The main companies that visit our college for placement drives are: Ultratech,make my house, Magicbricks, Capgemini, etc. The highest placement is 44 lakhs and the AVG package is 4.5 lakhs per annum and Almost 70% of students get placed through college placement drives.

According to my opinion the fees is a Little bit expensive for the environment provided by the collage. But there are lots of scholarship exam from which someone can get a huge minimisation in fees structure. The fees for one year is divided into two installments. However some additional charges are added up in total fees like stationery, uniform etc. There are not great chances of getting a placement of higher amount from campus.

The campus life is not that much interesting as I think so. However, there are many technical as well as cultural events held on campus. LAKSHYA which is the greater cultural fest of our college held in March. At this event, many sports activities have been done. During day time all the other activities like sports, drama, quizzes etc take place and during evening hours many famous Bollywood celebrities were invited to the college to make the evening full of fun and enjoyment Another event like AADHAR which is a technical fest in which every student from every branch must have to participate and represent their technical skills.AADHAR is conducted by the student group called ZERCON CLUB. There are many other clubs in the college and the students can choose any of them according to their willings.

Anyone can get direct admission to PU through a management quote as it is a private University or one can apply for the NATA examination which is a kind of scholarship examination that help students by minimising fees to a great extent.
