Course Curriculum Overview :

BSc Food science is a new course in degree. As it is new course and had more scope in future I literally choose it. The ratio of faculty and student is 1:30 Faculty qualification in my college is Msc & Phd in reputed course. Semester are conducted in a time period of 4 months. The exam is moderately patterned.

Class Size : 42Course Fees : INR 22000 per year

Placement Experience :

There are several companies like Genepact, 24/7, MRF, ICICI Bank and some other. The highest package will depends on the company that visit the college. The minimum percent of student eligible for placements is 75% My plans are to grab a good job which related to my course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee policy is half of the amount is obtained from government and remaining should be paid by the individuals. Scholarship is obtained from government directly to the students account. Still I didn't got any placement opportunity.

Campus Life :

The fest is conducted every month conducted by several departments in the college. A lot of books are available in the library and also my college provides a digital library too. The amenities are good in the classroom. My college supports me widely in sports and other activities. We also had NCC and NSS too. The Instagram groups are run by students and updates about the college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels provide basic room facilities to individuals. Meals are good that was provided by the hostels and also they provide tiffin & meals. The registration is not so hard we can easily find the hostels and the fee is affordable to everyone. Hostels are located near the college and rooms are also available.

Hostel Fee : INR 42000 per year

Admission :

The Eligibility for my graduation course is Intermediate with atleast 50% percentile. The admission is through TS DOST application process and they provide a certain college list and then we will get admission in preferred college. The application forms are uploaded in official website and fee will be depends on castes. The application last for almost one month. There are no such reservation benifits, it totally depends on the percent that we had secured in intermediate. The present admission process is good but there should be implementation of more new courses.

an over-all good college for B.Sc

Placement Experience:

there are campus placements available here , many MNCs like Deloitte, Amazon, JP Morgan, Salesforce etc visit every year. but take a note that most of them are from non-tech roles. the maximum packages was 11.5 lpa offered by Salesforce.

Good faculty and infrastructure but lacs lab equipments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical knowledge I could say is good enough to gain knowledge in this field but compared to the btech biotech BSc includes comparatively less practical training. We were only given glimpse and theory of specific experiments due to unavailability of certain equipments. Exams are however manageable to certain extent but comparing to other life sciences this course is bit difficult to deal with.
