Entrance Preview

Iit jee. Is scored 771 rank OBC. And i chose this exam to get into iit. This exam was tough. I got 5500 AiR rank

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course was mix of practicals and theory. Due to shortage of labs as college is emerging one, there was lesser hands on experience on practicals. But there were many industrial excursions that enriched the real engineering experience. Overall we lacked practical based capabilities.

Internships Opportunities

It provides internship mainly for doing projects. No stipend at that time. Very less students chance for it

Placement Experience

2.5

There is placement cell. Companies came for placement, but mainly IT sector ones. On core engineering, very less companies came as college was emerging and i am from first batch. But overall everyone got placed somewhere or other and many left for master abroad and IIM cat.

College Events

3

Cultural festival Sports festivals Technological fests They were good, many students from other colleges come. Manu singerslike aditi singh sharma came. And bands of local like rajasthani bands came. There was a lot to learn as workshops were there

Fees and Financial Aid

Colleges give scholarships to economically weaker sections based on merit. Other scholars can also be available

Campus Life

1.5

Gender ratio was skewed. Less than 10% students were girls. Hobby can be pursued. Many facilities are there for hobbies like music club, dance, sports, technical clubs like aerodynamic. Clubs lime robotics are there are many students learn there hobbies there and generate interested.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facilities not good. Temporary arrangements. Mess was good. Hostel was Temporary and it was not good facilitates. There were apartments type system not typical hostel. As campus was temporary. But mess and food was good and inclusive of south indian food as well

Alumni/Alumna

I did not have alumni as i was first batch. But alumni are good for development and there are excellent

Exam Structure

It was not very hectic. There were quizzes assignments, exams, lab practicals very frequently. They all kept us in line with study of syllabus. But it was not hectic. There was enough time to carry on personal hobbies or interest. Not hectic at all....

Admission

Admission was through IIT Jee exam. Now there are JEE mains and advance. Exam was offline paper based. Then there was counselling regarding preferences and verification of documents. Then final result after which we need to join it by going yo the college that was allocated.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was highly educated and good teaching skills, but lacked experience. Most were assistant professor. At the start one professor teaches many subjects and it was not good experience. Also sometimes college from other colleges as visiting faculties were incited

Course Curriculum Overview:

. The timing of each exams will be 2 and half hours . you have to appear to the exam hall before 2 hrs and you have to submit all your belonging to the invigilator like phone etc., . Improvement area of the course is the notes they provide, the exam questions they ask some time is out of what they teach they expect us to know more than they teach. . I over all fell good about the B.TECH in pursued and I would also do my MBA from BITS . I choose this course because it will not affect my work and i complete my BTECH with work and all people and organizations will recognize the course we done with BITS
