What Students Say

Likes

Campus with peaceful environment and good facilities.
Library is good with lots of books and journals.
Different clubs will be there where we can enjoy.

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not upto the mark.
Faculty are above average but they are well qualified.
Only one fest every year which is quite boring.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the ECE branch as I'm interested in electronics and also it's my father's wish. We have a student-faculty ratio of 1:10 and most of them are well-qualified. Faculty are good with good knowledge and abundant experience.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 113500 per year

Internships Opportunities

At present, I didn't get any internship but I'm trying very hard. Some of our friends got internships in T-hub and Providence etc. The fund they got are decent to excellent like 15k and some of them got 40k per month.

Placement Experience

From 3-2 semesters we try for placements. Some famous companies like TCS, Wipro, and oracle will visit our campus every year. The highest package was 67 Lakhs per annum and the lowest package was 2 L per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have a fee of 108000 along with a miscellaneous fee of 6k per annum. Recently the fee got increased to 1.6 Lakhs. I didn't get any scholarship so I'm paying the full fee. At present, I didn't get any job yet I'm trying for one.

Campus Life

In mgit we have a fest named NIRAVANA every year in the month of April. We have good classrooms with good ventilation. Sports facilities are decent. We have literary, dance, music, Adobe, spotlight clubs etc...

Admission

I joined MGIT through eamcet counselling. I didn't get any reservation benefits as I'm from the general category. Nothing much to improve in the counselling process but should be diminished as it is quite long.

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. G eapcet convenient quota, and then you should pay 10000 to TG eapcet website which you will be Refunded in 3 months. the admission fee of the college is 10000 and the fees of the semsester should be paid before joining the college....Read More

this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
