Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was fantastic and excellent. I am very much interested in Data Science. So I took Data Science as my specialisation track. The faculty members are well educated and phd level. There are two exams mid sem and end sem which are easy to pass

Internships Opportunities

Tech Mahindra, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, BMC, Wipro, and Deloitte all are offering internships and jobs based on the preference of role for which they are recruiting. There are also Capgemini, Amdocs and so on

Fees and Financial Aid

Everything was good and worthy. Fees for one year in the general category is 175000 whereas for tfws is 23534. Min 50% of students are placed in campus placements. The average salary is 6.5 lpa whereas the highest salary can range to 25 lpa

Campus Life

Campus life was good. Every event was held nicely in a well-organised manner. There is a library from where we can issue books. We were given IEEE access to the literature survey. Extracurricular activities were held every year.

Admission

I got 96.8 percentile in MHT-CET. Due to the financial crisis, I applied for tfws seat and I grabbed the seat in the second round in the field of Information Technology. Then to accept the seat I have to come to the college and want to pay first-year fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Practical College Life with Real Opportunities for Self-Driven Students

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

I don't know much about the placements but I heard that after third year onwards you get placement opportunities . The highest package is 12 lacks and the average package is between 3.5 to 4.5 lacks .

That aspect that made me choose this course that the it very oriented with the project based learning which prepare students for the industry level knowledge and ready for the job . It really prepare for the real world problem which are needed in the industry. Some improvements can also be added as the era is of AI the curriculum can be shaped based on the AI for future proof. The frequency of the exam is every 6 months it is very good to have exams every 6 months as students get to check their knowledge on timely basis the difficultly level is manageable.

Placement Experience:

Semester 7 is when the placement season starts, and sem 5 onwards you can appear for internship season. The highest package goes in crores but mostly in cse department, others not IT jobs have reletively lower packages avarage being 20 LPA. Almost 60 percent and above students get placed in my guess. I am planning to work in a chemical process design firm.
