There Are Maximum Changes To Get Placement In This College Campus Drive.
The teaching staff is very supportive and helpful.
The Extra Curricular Activities Of College In Which Students Get Chance To Try New Things And Gain Knowledge.

Dislikes

College Campus Is Not Attractive,There Are No Proper Parking Arrangements.
There is not proper road inside the college.
The college is little bit out of the city so there is problem through travel from city to outside area

Course Curriculum Overview

A course curriculum is a series of classes designed to help a student reach the level of formal education that they are pursuing. The course curriculum should form a learning environment that helps a student attain a desired outcome. We have faculties ,who are very educated , knowledge and experienced. They are very helpful and understandble well communication .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like KPIT, LTI, TCS and Tech Mahindra visited our college for placements. This helps students get selected for placement in all branches, which is really good. Placements were good and various companies visited in the campus drives. In 2-3 years, mechanical placements are not done but the IT companies are giving vacancies for mechanical students and they also place students in IT companies.

Placement Experience

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visiting for campus drives like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini,byju's, tata power, black witch, and many more. The highest package of kit college is 41 lakh per annum which is offered by Adobe company. There is 90 % of students are getting placements. My plans are to do c-dac course after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are different for every student differ on their cast. There is an EBC scholarship for students in which students have to pay only a 50% fee. For hostel students there is panjabrav Deshmukh nirvahan yojna in that students get 18000 rs for yearly for their hostel fees. The college commas drive is very good. There are several companies are coming for the drive and a maximum number of students are getting placed. So getting job chances are high.

Campus Life

The annual fest of kit college is called Meraki and it is mostly conducted in March month. College support students who are interested in sports and extracurricular activities. On sports days there are football, cricket, volleyball, and basketball are involved. There nss a camp for students who are interested in helping people. In the college library, there are all books provided which are in the syllabus as well as many other books are there for reading. there are many social groups like lead India, shaurya.

Admission

Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech must apply online for MHT CET for admission. Final admission is done through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the competent authority. For B.Tech, 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are required to be eligible. Admission in B.Tech programs is done on the basis of a valid score in MHT CET or JEE Main. Candidates from Maharashtra should appear for MHT CET compulsorily for admission.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

An underrated college in kolhapur

I chose this college because the fees is very affordable and the return on investment is good. Placements are also fine and they are improving every year.
