Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is for four years and it is a wonderful course as I wanted to take it as my first choice. The faculties are also very nice as they will attend to any of your doubts if not now they will tell you when to meet them. So it is great.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of internship opportunities as the lectures get companies to the college and we have an incubator which is a place for a college-based startup for those young inspiring engineers. So it is very great.

Placement Experience

There are placements in the college and campus placement is not there as one will have to go to the main branch in Vellore to be campus placed. But other than that I believe it is very nice. The employability rate is also very high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is completely based on what rank you secure in the entrance exam and there are four categories. This is only the tuition fee the hostel and mess fee is separate. There are no campus jobs with payment but if you show your talent and score a good CGPA, you will get a scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus Life is amazing as there are a lot of things going on from an educational point of view and also an entertainment point of view. Social life on campus is very alive as there are a lot of events happening on campus. There are a lot of clubs as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is also very good. The rooms vary from two bed three bed four bed six bed and eight bed. It varies between ac and non ac. The mess food is actually good compared to a lot of other messes as I have stayed in hostels before.

Hostel Fee: INR 158000 per year

Admission

The admission process was an easy process, you could say it was Hassle-free. Yes, there was an entrance exam and one had to clear it the pass depends on the number of applicants but one should be within one lakh rank to choose between all the branches.

Self studying college with no enjoyment

Placement Experience:

Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Only a limited number of companies visit the campus. The common recruiters are mostly mass hiring IT service companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, and a few local startups. Core companies rarely visit the campus. Very few students get placed directly on campus. For example, in my batch, less than 25–30% of students received offers, and most of them were in IT support roles rather than core engineering jobs. Salary Packages –Highest Package: Around 4.5 – 5 LPA, offered by a software company. Average Package: Around 2.5 – 3 L

Life of an MBA at VIT

All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT.
