Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason for opting for this course is my interest in computers and coding. I want to be an ethical hacker. MGIT maintains a good faculty-to-student ratio of 16:1. Most of the faculty are completed their Ph.D. and they interact well with real-life examples, exams are conducted unit-wise and mid-term and semester.

Internships Opportunities

Most companies visited our college and many of our seniors are placed well with the satisfied package in IT and NON-IT jobs. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Adobe, and Amazon offer the roles like product manager and sales manager, and developer.

Placement Experience

As per our college, 3-2 semester students will be eligible for campus placements and all-year students are eligible for internships based on their skills. Goldmann sachs , Adobe , Amazon , TCS , Infosys.

Fees and Financial Aid

MGIT charges 1,60,000 per student I think it's worthy and the government provides a scholarship if you are applying through EAMCET based on caste and rank. The college provides placements and internship drives you have to crack it and you will be rewarded with a stipend.

Campus Life

Our college's annual fest's name is NIRVANA. I think it's the best event that is organized by students and faculty. Every book is available in the library there is no lack of books. They will provide a projector in classrooms which will be helpful while teaching.

Hostel Facilities

As for coming to the hostel, I feel it's not worth the fee they are charging. They provide good rooms but room to student ratio is a little bit high. The meals in a hostel are very nice. You can directly contact the college for hostel admission.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is to complete your intermediate education without fail and you have to attempt at least one of the entrance exams JEE Mains or EAMCET through which you can get into the college through the A or B category. If you are applying through mains you have to visit the college and if you are through EAMCET they will allocate your college according to rank and caste basic rank for the general category is 4000.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

1. i applied for cbit, ou, jntuh, vnr, grrr, vasavi, cvr through EAMCET in 1st phase i got MJCT which was decent but placement was very less also no hostels.. in phase 2 i got seat in cvr this college was great in placement and academics but problem was it was too far also the hostel fees is too much.. and finally in phase 3 i got mgit-cse.. honestly i was applying colleges by seeing there cutoffs like mgit was closest to my rank and remaining all were lesser then my rank .. 2. there was no rejection i only changed my mind 3.admisssion process in mgit you can get better details in mgit.ac.in but main sorce is EAMCET and cutoff is around 10k for oc cse.. admisson is smooth and i am happy...Read More

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
