Remarks

Management is continuously striving to give the best to the students. Management is open to suggestions from the students. The course curriculum is frequently updated to ensure that the students are industry-ready as soon as they graduate. Along with the law courses, many courses are taught to the students to hone their skills.

Entrance Preview

I had appeared for the CLAT exam. Since the age of 14, I had decided that I will pursue a career in law. I have always been interested in law-related subjects. Only the top 10% of the students get admission to KPMSOL and I was lucky to be one of those students. To get admission in this institute, one needs to have a CLAT score and also one needs to fill up the online form available on the institute website. I had got call letters from many other prestigious colleges, but I decided to take admission at KPMSOL. The admissions here are solely on the basis of the All India CLAT score, there are no reservations.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course structure is at par with all the top-level institutes, including the NLUs. The best part of KPMSOL is that, since it is an autonomous institute, the course curriculum is frequently revised based on the industry requirements. In addition to the law courses, there are many courses included having an all-round development of the student studying here.

Internships Opportunities

The students are encouraged to undertake internships in NGOs in the first and second year of their 5-year law course. From the 3rd year onwards, they have to undergo internships in law firms.

Placement Experience

5

The institute has a placement cell which is very active. The first batch of KPMSOL is yet to graduate. The faculty in the placement cell is striving to ensure the placements of the students. Management is trying its best to invite reputed law firms to recruit KPMSOL students.

College Events

4.5

The institute organizes cultural festival "Meraki", MUNs, debate, moot courts etc for the all-round and holistic development of the students. Apart from these activities, students can become members of the Centre for Criminal Justice, Centre for Securities Law, Magazine Committee, Placement Cell, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are expensive as compared to many colleges affiliated to the Mumbai University. Nevertheless, students get quality teaching that goes much beyond the curriculum, highly qualified and experienced faculty, good infrastructure, well-equipped library with access to premium research journals and databases, good canteen facilities, etc.

Campus Life

4

The admission is based purely on the CLAT Scores of the students, there is no bias based on race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. The campus is very conducive to the all-round development of the student. The institute provides a number of opportunities for the student to participate in various activities on the campus. There are many competitions like MOOT Courts, debates, workshops being organized for enhancing the skills of the students, The faculty members always encourage the students to participate in different activities. The facilities provided are on par with the best of institutes.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are many PGs and hostels around the college. They provide good lodging and boarding facilities, wifi, laundry service, etc. Televisions are provided in most of the PGs. The rooms are available on a twin sharing basis or at the max shared by 4 students. The facilities provide homely food and are well maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

The first batch of KPMSOL is yet to graduate. The senior students are extremely helpful. Every second-year student mentors one first-year student to ensure that the students immediately get accustomed to the institute.

Exam Structure

Students undergo internal assessments as well as the end semester examination. Students also get credits based on their performance in the projects, vivas, etc. The students are given good exposure to the different kinds of research activities right from the first year.

Admission

To get admission at KPMSOL, one needs to appear for the CLAT examination. One also needs to fill up the admission form that can be downloaded from the KPMSOL website. The admission is purely based on the CLAT score. The admission process is extremely well managed and we are guided by the staff at every step.

The placements in college is moderate. Some students from BALLB grab high packages like 15-20 lakhs, but these are exceptions. Normally students have on average 8-10 lakhs mostly in law firms and banks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic
