Remarks

All over, JIIT is the best I could have found. College has given me many things which includes physical strength through sports and mental strength through various kinds of projects. I'll miss the college, teachers and friends.

Entrance Preview

I got selected in this college via scores of IIT-JEE. I scored a mark less than the cutoff but made sure to get selected in JIIT and get the course of my choice. I opted for this college because it gives 95% placement claim which is true.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Courses curriculum is very diverse. It includes subjects like Communication skills, Management, Accounting, Disaster management, Literature, Energy, Psychology and many over which are distributed in a period of 4 years. Such courses which no one expects to be a part of engineering curriculum are taught here and also explained in details as they believe in making us a better human

Internships Opportunities

My college doesn't provide us internship. Rather, faculty members help us find a good internship outside the campus. They even recommend us to the institutions if required.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are pretty good in JIIT. As the placement cell invites many companies to the campus. Big hits like Deloitte, Amazon, SmartPrix, GRAIL, Axtria, Deltti, Infosys, Cognizant, Ericsson, Stanley Morgan and many more. All the companies offer somewhere between 6L to 18L. Not all are mass recruiter but they recruit significant amount of students from the campus.

College Events

4

There are many events celebrated all over the year. Starting with the fresher's then comes the ethnic night which includes dandiya night. Then there are college fest. Many celebrities are invited but sometimes infamous persons are called. Fest's are marked average in JIIT. Technical fest are not much encouraged.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible for a middle class student. Fee includes all the facilities mainly sports and its equipments. Average yearly fees is around 1.6L. It has to be paid in two parts which are starting of the both semester in that particular year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any kind of facility like Scholarship or loan which is offered by our college. Maybe, there's a facility of this kind but I am unaware of it as I haven't availed it.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is very social. You get to interact with many students via many events. Males to females gender ratio is about 10:4, obviously as it's an engineering college. Labs are well equipped with new technologies and softwares. For sports we have courts for almost every sport like Badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, football etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

As I am a day scholar I appreciate the mess food. It's amazing. I like the variety they offer daily along with choley bhature on thursday. Cafe on other hand serves a low quality food. It lacks food like Chilly potatoes, spring roll, paneer items etc. Mess rate is nominal i.e. Rs.50 and items in café varies from Rs. 10 to Rs. 50.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and kind. They are always ready to help. Ragging is something which is absolutely not a part of this institute. Seniors help us in taking decisions like which subject to opt in electives and other things throughout the college.

Exam Structure

Exams are not like other universities. They are divided into three terminals T1, T2 and T3. First two are of 20 marks each the latter one is of 35 marks. To complete 100 marks 25 marks are named as Teacher assessment. Alongside, lab exams are held twice a sem which are of 100 marks.

Admission

Well, I filled up the form for this particular college and then they gave me a date for orientation where there were ongoing sessions where on the basis of rank they were offering you courses. When your turn comes, you can choose from the courses which are left.

Faculty

3

Mostly faculty has completed there PHD's also many of them are graduated from foreign universities. Also, faculty is helpful in time of need alongside they also guide students for their future. Every faculty takes out the time from their busy schedule and gives time to students to let them help achieve great heights.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech because I wanted to explore how real world works with technology and to know the insights of technology. The college mostly provides theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge refraining us from more exposure to real world problems. If the course is shifted from theoretical to practical it'll be really helpful. Two exams are conducted per semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.

Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
