A student personal experience

I have selected this course as I wanted to go for the IT sector. There are many facilities for different subjects. All of them are qualified and have good teaching knowledge. Some are new so sometimes it is hard to understand them but overall the faculties are good. The exams are taken at the end of the semester. The semesters are of 6 months. The exams are moderately difficult.

As I'm in the 1 year so I don't really know the internship for my department but I saw nursing students going for the internship in hospitals. Programs like trips to Cipla and other companies are also conducted by the college. Industrial visits too.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. ICIC, CEAT, TCS, and many more. Offers are given based on the company and student qualifications and knowledge. The highest package is 12- 15 lakh and the average is about 3-5 lakh. Last year from BCA more than 80% got placements. I will go for MCA or a job with masters.

The fee s suitable for my course. There is a hike in fees for the new batch. The cost to study is more for those who came from outside as it includes hotel charges too. But if you think and calculate the hostel charges per year it is not that much. The government scholarship programs ki National Scholarship, and Kalyan Scholarship are available there. I don't know about financial assistance. Highly qualified students get good stipends on campus.

Life at the campus is good. There are many fests that are organized by the college like Xplore which is conducted in Nov- Dec. Also tech fest is organized by the IT department of the college and it is generally conducted when the semester starts. There are lots of books in the library and you can easily issue a book. Almost all of the books in my course are available. Mics, speaker, whiteboard, Ac and a very good infrastructure including chairs and desk. Sports are conducted by the college most at the end of the year as also extracurricular activities. Rotaract club is one of the clubs available in college.

I have opted for BCA. The eligibility of the course is that you need to have 60% marks in class 12. You can find the application form on the college website or office. You get a 30% scholarship it's available only for a limited time. The admission process is quite simple and easy. So I don't think that it should need improvement.
