Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in business systems so I decided why not go with the computer science field that's why I chose this course. and the opportunity and placement were great .` The faculty was great and the student ratio is massive. The student-faculty ratio 1:30.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about the fees policy but the fee structure is about 220000 for complete 3-year diploma programs. There are many scholarships everyone can apply for SVMCM, JINDAL, and OASIS plus there are on-campus jobs available.

Campus Life

There are many fests and annual functions for the students and faculty such ongoing first right now is Paridhi it is one of the largest fests of the college which offers cash prizes for winning and there is a fest for mechatronic.

Admission

The cut-off is wbjee and 60% above in the 12th. Wbjee website and makeup websites. Reservation for state quota is 80% another state 15% and 5% for management. Last year the admission was a bit late compared to other universities.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

Best start for a professional life

I was referred by one of my neighbor whose brother is already in Elite polytechnic institution. So admission process is not that lengthy for me...i just go to admission cell with my father & pay the amount which is required for registration & in return they provide me the receipt which will i've to provide during my classes...actually i avail management quota...for which i have to pay little higher amount than others who comes from jexpo...i didn't remember how much i had paid...they gave me the fee structure along with that money receipt where it's mentioned about 6 semester's fee along with hostel fees if anyone avail hostel than. The criteria for admission is marks greater than 50% in physical science, math & english. And i've 75% marks in 10th so there's no problem regarding criteria for me at least. During admission they describe me about their stream availability & seat availability, & trying to convince me to chose alternative stream rather than civil engineering but i chose CE....Read More
