Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are well-qualified and good at teaching every aspect of the topics. The general student ratio is 1:40, which is fairly good. There are separate faculty members while practical's. The exams are conducted from time to time and enough practice is done through Unit tests which helps in the final exams.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are provided when you are in 3rd year. Different programs are organized to provide skills to the students so they can easily qualify for different internships. Many students take online courses in 1st and 2nd year to be ready for the opportunities. Project-based learning starts right from the first year. Different classroom projects are made to fill your resume.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from 3rd year. The college provides an in-campus placement facility. Various companies that visit the college are Infosys, TCS, Jio, L&T, etc. The highest package is around 12L-15L and the average package is around 3L. The college has the highest in-campus placements compared to other colleges in the area, which is around 90% getting placed. I am planning for GATE after the completion of my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for General and management category students is 103000 per semester. For OBC and EWS students it comes to half which is around 55300. For other category students, it is even low than this. You can apply for Rajashri Shahu Maharaj Scholarship and Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship.
Campus Life
There are two biggest yearly events, the Cultural event, and the Sports Karandak. Generally, they are conducted in March. There are celebrations on the college campus for every other festival like Holi, Dandiya night, etc. The college has a Central Library which is open to all students 24/7. There are thousands of technical and non-technical books to read. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, fans, lights, etc. The digital way of teaching is adopted by teachers. There are different types of clubs for everyone's interest. There is a coding club, ECell, ELESA, Kalamandal, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is really great. You can apply for a hostel while taking admission to college (even applying later is allowed). You can live in a hostel on monthly basis, paying monthly rent. The mess is included with hostel fees(you can apply out of the mess). The food quality and variety is great to compare to other mess in the area. The rooms in the hostel are regularly cleaned. You are allotted a room with 3 other students. You can select a room of your choice. There is a proper facility for electricity, water, washrooms, etc. Hot water is available through a solar heater or even a geyser installed on every floor.
Admission
There are three ways to take admission. MHT CET, JEE Main, and Management Quota. The general cutoff for CET is around 89-90 percentile and for JEE Main it is around 95000th rank. Once, the cutoff is cleared you can easily apply through the CAP round. There are three CAP rounds. You can easily get admission in 2md or 3rd round. The document verification can be done online and later needs to be verified by visiting the college while completing the admission process.
