An untold side of Dharmsinh Desai University.

Dharmsinh Desai University has one of the best course curricula and exam patterns. The course is enriched with the teaching of modern industry-required subjects and the faculty is very helpful for both study and placements. There are monthly internal exams (sessional exams) covering 25-33% of the syllabus and they are very difficult to score high, making it very competitive for students. However, due to a good student-faculty ratio of 12:1, things become quite easy.

Companies with their stipend offers: Microsoft - 44000/month, Google - 35000/month, Infosys - 23000/month, TCS - 19000/month. Projects were given upon creating API's, Web development using AI and ML, learning robotics, eyeware for blind using AI and map flow.

Placements start for CSE students from the 4-5th semester itself with stipends up to 25,000/month (the highest is 48,000/month). Companies visiting regularly are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, IBM, Reliance, L&T, and Mahindra. The highest package of the CSE department for FY22 was 76 lakhs/yr and the average package is 10 lakh/yr. Almost all the students are placed on campus in CSE. (The placement from the last 10 years is 97-99% in the CSE department).

In comparison to other colleges, fees at Dharmsinh Desai University(DDU) are quite low (78,500/semester). Also, there are many scholarships (both govt. and non-govt.) that further reduce the cost. Placements are one of the best of this college. Companies that visit regularly are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Etch, Mahindra, Reliance, and Google.

The annual fest of DDU is 'FELICIFIC' conducted in Feb-March. It is quite an attraction for enthusiasts of sports, acting, debate, public speaking, dance, and concerts. The library is the most visited place of DDU due to its rich collection of books (both Indian and foreign authors). There are many notable clubs run by students as Samvaad, Readers point, Sports FoT, Decibel, Shutterbugs, etc.

- Eligibility: Completed Std 12th with at least 75%. - The application form and its registration is done through the government portal of Gujarat for professional courses(ACPA). - The application for admission is free under ACPC but for private admission(i.e. Management Quota) you need to pay Rs. 300/- as registration fees.
