Likes

I like mechanical engineering because its is an ever green branch
We can go to either core or software field
Infrastructure is good , there some rules and regulations in college

Dislikes

Less number of seats for students who have came from diploma
placement for mechanical students with low package
I don't like security in college because rules so critical at the gate

Course Curriculum Overview

I have completed my diploma in mechanical engineering so I have no other option but to choose other courses so I joined mechanical engineering. For every 60 students 1 subject faculty. all faculties are well-educated phd mtech.

Class Size: 47Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Campus placements are provided today for those students who don't have any backlogs and students who must have above 65%in their final overall exam. the highest package is 22lpa and the average of 5lpa, the plan after the degree is to do a master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends upon which branch chose by students. There are many banks that offer education loans and scholarships. the government provides scholarships to qualified ecet and many other state exams

The campus life is good and there are many fests conducted by collage-like brumous fest and some technical fests,winter rest, many upgraded books are available in the library, and many clubs are there in collage-like feliks club and GDC.

Admission

Students must have 65% in their diploma or intermediate level, the fee is up to 100000 for mechanical engineering and there is fee reimbursement by the government like ecet, mcet, etc, reservation is playing a crucial role in fee reimbursement.

We have many laboratories for practical knowledge. And also they providing other practical labs for us from other course related. They have installed a seperate computer lab or other elective labs for different branches. And also provide different assistants for every laboratories. They teach us well . Make us to make connections as per the circuit provided. They also teach us how they came into work in the real time life. Mainly they teach us how they are applicable to our real life. And also they preserve the projects and make juniors motivate and make them to learn.

The students can apply for internships from 3rd year, 2nd sem or from the end of 3rd year, 1st sem. Some of the notable companies that have visited the college were accenture, cognizant, tcs. I am planning to pursue masters after my degree completion over here. The highest package as per my knowledge is nearly 19 lakh. Most of the students are assured to get placed in bulk.

My view of Kmit

Placement Experience:

from 3 year 2 semester onwards the students can attend to placements without any active backlogs. The campies visited are drawin box,service now, real page,epam etc. the highest package is 44 lpa and average is 5 lpa. 45 per students have placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my father was private employee from electrical background so that i choose the Electrical and Electronics branch. So this branch was learned me technically a lot. The course was very difficult but need a guts to chase this.Here practical knowledge also very important from basics and need teaching very neatly to explain such hard topics like mechanism and electronics too.We wrote our exam into twice at 6months by dividing 1-1 and 1-2 etc.The exam time was 3 hours its a sufficient time to write a student with focus and knowledge on topics.
