I chose this course to improve my culinary skills and enhance my knowledge The faculty here focuses individually on the students as there are a limited number of students in a batch and this helps in easy interaction with the faculty All the faculty hold a degree in Hotel management or culinary arts and are highly experienced and have worked in Cruises and 5-star properties There are 2 internals of theory and practice that are held by the college in one semester and the finals are conducted by the University It is not that difficult to score well if we focus on classes conducted

Placement Experience

From the first semester, only the students become eligible for placements ITC, Taj, GRT, The Park, Lemon Tree hotels, Club Mahindra, P&O Cruises (United Kingdom and Australia) 100% guaranteed placements are offered Kitchen management trainees are the highest profiles offered

Fees and Financial Aid

The FEE Structure is 1,75,000/- per anum, as of now there is no hike in the fees The fees can be paid in parts The University exams fees have to be paid additionally that is around 2,300/- for one semester I haven't applied for any scholarship

Campus Life

The library has some of the best books that are internationally recognized like Larousse, etc and also have books from all the cuisines All classrooms are smart classrooms There's a sports week that happens in the month of November or December

Admission

Eligibility is that one should hold a Bachelor's degree in hotel management, in business administration in hotel/hospitality or Bsc in hotel management or a Bachelor of arts degree in hospitality management or culinary arts The application form can be found on the college website and one can get in contact with the college

Interview Experience

After the application submission, the first round is the entrance exam that is conducted by the college online/ offline Then the second round is a Personal Interview with the director/principal of the college If selected one will receive a mail The exam consists of basics in culinary and a few questions of indian history related to food

Remarks:

The English and Foreign Languages University is NAAC accredited with CGPA of 3.26 on four point scale at A grade. They believe that education should be reached to everyone with utmost quality and I must say, they are being so succesful in doing so.
