The English and Foreign Languages University is NAAC accredited with CGPA of 3.26 on four point scale at A grade. They believe that education should be reached to everyone with utmost quality and I must say, they are being so succesful in doing so.
Course Curriculum Overview
For the PGCTE course, the syllabus is carefully planned and kept up to date for us the learn the latest teaching techniques and the examinations are held in the tentative dates announced by the university. This certification program makes us further eligible for studying post graduate diploma course.
Placement Experience
This certification program enables me to apply for the post of english instructor or even for the role of english teacher to the school students. I have been able to acquire the job of summer intern in one of the online teaching platforms with pretty decent stipend. Thanks to The English and Foreign Languages University for that.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The overall fee for PGCTE course comes around 6,000 rupees only, which is really very affordable. However, examination and application fee are excluded from this. The application fee comes around Rs.500. SC/ST students with poor income can also apply for scholarships.
Campus Life
We have a cultural activities cell which believes in giving us a break from our academic schedules. Several art-related activities are organised by this cell and motivates the students to participate in this. We also have a well-equipped library in the campus to fulfill our educational needs.
Admission
I've applied for Post Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of English by submitting an application. I already have M.A English qualification and to strengthen my skills, I have opted for this certification program. I got selected and was informed to pay the fee to enroll myself.
Faculty
The professors of The English and Foreign Languages University have high competence in teaching and especially, the faculty of distance learning teach us in innovative ways and keeps us updated with latest trends in the field.
