ALL FACIES OF IIT BOMBAY

I can comment that sometime you don't choose, you're the chosen one. So by this i'm saying is that i had filled lot of colleges(IITs) and lot of branches, but due to some error while filling the counselling data i had put IIT Bombay chemical department before IIT Delhi Electrical, that was my mistake, but now i'm happy with my branch. No. of student per faculty advisor is 40. And all the faculty is foreign return and have done studies in extremely good foreign colleges like Washington, university of Virginia etc,

The internship opportunity is available inside the campus as a different project under different clubs and different professors. But the best part is that approximately 150 companies came for internships as well, where you can work for experience and you'll be paid for the same nice amount. And you might get PPO (pre-placement offer).

There are approximately 400 companies came for placement and 2500 offer has been made this year. The highest offer given is about 4 Cr and lowest is 8 lac per annum, and the average is approx 25 lac. The highest offer is given for tech profile and the average is given for product management and consultant, and data scientist. Approximately 85% of students get placed this year that include B.tech and M.tech. Coming to my interests and plan I want to get a job in my B.tech only.

You may feel that the FEE amount is higher than expected but you don't have to worry about it. You'll get assistant from your mentor and the orientation related to fees, where you'll get to know about the available loan facility through SBI & CANARA bank under VIDYALAKSHMI SCHEME, where you'll get a loan at lower interest rate, and you'll also get to know about the best part of it, i.e. Scholarships like NAMED SCHOLARSHIP, MERIT CUM MEAN SCHOLARSHIP, FEE REMISSION. most people got this scholarship if they have financial issues and have an annual income of less than 5 lac. Also, you can apply for a TA job after 1st year for 1st-year courses if will secure good marks in that subject. and you'll be paid for that, other than that you can participate in different competitions where you can win cash prizes up to 5 lac.

There is numerous fest which happens here, the biggest one is MOOD INDIGO, TECHFEST, E-SUMMIT, SOCIAL FEST, KALA DARSHAN, PAF, DHAROHAR, ANNPROD, STYLE UP, etc. all are conducted in there fix time mostly MOOD INDIGO and TECHFEST happen in December, others in march or Feb. rest happen in march. The classroom has all the facilities from benches to projector including ACs. Coming to sports activities you'll have to choose between NS0 (sports), NCC, and NSS (social work) first to do one of them and it is compulsory in NSO you can choose your sports and can go forward and do whatever you want in that sports, other than that you'll get a coach in all game with Inter IIT competition and other inter hostel GCs. there are numerous social groups, and clubs like Abhyuday, MoodIndigi, Techfest, E-Cell, cultural club and departmental club.

Hostel facilities are really good like in first year you'll get a room and a room partner with 10 more wingies who will stay in same wing with you. You'll create a great memory with them, also hostel room and facilities are really nice, you can complain regarding anything and it will be resolved very quickly, since council is there for every hostel who take care of every thing from maintenance to food. Meal is really nice meand you'll lot of variety in every meal, and nothing got repeated in a week. There is no such need to register for Hostel and all, you'll be pre-informed and it is being alloted to everyone, then if you don't want to live and can opt out. Rooms are really affordable like you have to pay only 11000 for whole semester for hostel room and every facilities. There is no such facilities of nearby PG but you can leave in guest if your parent came to visit you want to stay in campus.

To sit for the examination you have to be in 12th class or 12th cleared, then you can fill up the form in September month for the 1st JEE Mains and followed by 2 more chances to clear this JEE Mains in the same year or next year January or march, after clearing this you'll eligible for JEE Advanced than in April you have to fill the form for JEE Advanced and in May or June, you have to appear in the EXAM. On clearing JEE ADVANCED WITH GOOD RANK (0-4000), then only you'll get a good branch/department in this institute otherwise choose other IITs or other lower branches. You'll also be benefited from caste reservation and gender reservation for women. And admission process is so smooth, you'll get a mentor from DAY 1 of your college, even from entry into college.
