Likes

Library and reading rooms; The environment of the library was giving peace of mind.
Extra curricular activities, like tech fests in which online gaming competitions were held.

Dislikes

The duration for submission of fee was less and online mode was only available.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty of the institute was well-skilled and the laboratory was also well-equipped. The student faculty ratio was almost 5:1.All the faculty members were with Ph.D. and post-doctorate. Exams were held on time.

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is to be paid in four installments. There is various scholarships scheme to benefit the students. National Scholarship Scheme is one of them. University-based Financial Assistance is given to needy students.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good and cool. Various fests of tech were been conducted like online gaming fests etc. Various popular sports were been played there like cricket, hockey, football, etc. Various social media groups are being run by students.

Admission

Eligibility of course was BSc. or equivalent degree. Application form was on the university's official website. An entrance examination was held for admission in the university. The cut off of entrance merit list was 52 out of 100.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

The University admits students on the cuet merit basis . Most students prefer this university because they want to explore Kashmir. I choose Cuk because of dicipline there.. In short after 12th you have alot options but there are collages where no matter you attend classes or not you will study a night and get 80-90%.
