Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen BCA because I have interest in coding and I as from commerce background so I have only one option to do in technical field . Teachers explains concepts practically with real life example

Internships Opportunities

College provides great opportunity of internship after 4 semester as a summer training. Students can participate in different technology according to their interest. SAP labs comes for hire the interns for 2 months stipend - 15000 per month.

Placement Experience

Companies starts coming in final year. students of 5th semester eligible for campus placement. Firstly come some technical companies after then others. There is a chance of more than 90% placement. Average package - 200000

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees - 86400 Other fees - 19062 Total fees - 105462 College does not provide any financial assistance. If any student want scholarship then applicant can apply for Delhi government Merit Cum Means Financial Assistance Scheme

Campus Life

College organizes many events in a year. The biggest event is cultural fest of GGSIPU which is Anugoonj which organized in main campus of GGSIPU. Many other activities also perform here like - sports, dance, bike stunt etc.

Admission

GGSIPU takes admission into various programs through entrance exam .Most of the courses have 60% eligibility criteria. You just need to secure good rank in entrance exam. In Allotment round you get the college according to your rank.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students are eligible to sit for placements. Highest pacage was of 6-7 lpa whereas average packge is 3-4lpa. we have to go to other campuses to attend placement drives. Very less number of students got placed.

IITM Janakpuri

Placement Experience:

The Placements were good in IITM Janakpuri . The highest salary in my batch was offered about 14lpa and the average ranges arounf 6-7lpa. I didnt opt for placement because i want to do masters after my Bachelors but the my destiny didnt travelled along.

As we know that in today's generation everything is going to be digital and there's highly chance to expand "IT field in upcoming 10-15 years that's why BCA is suitable and future proof and it's a popular course of "IT" sector.A lot of experienced faculty that teaches you because it's a government University.it conducts semester wise exam it means in all course duration you need to attempt 6 exam in 3 years and syllabus was not to easy it's tough and challenging for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. I have to do graphic designing which i'm doing from 4 years back so i decided to do BCA. 2. All faculty are supportive and ratio of students doesn't harm that. 3. I would like to say about teaching method there was a mam who doesn't explain she only read book in front of us then it's over. 4. No difficulty if we take coaching classes to improve more.

We are given internship opportunities in the second year but the placements start in the third year. Many students also received PPOs. Not aware of the exact number but Delloite, Wipro, and Infosys are among the many. I will be pursuing my master's in Computer Applications.

The admission process is purely based on jee mains exam. You have to fill preference on ipu official website after registration on it. Aspects of the GGSIP University

I chose this college over the other ones because I got the admission on the merit basis by clearing the exam of this University. I applied for Bhartiya Vidyapeeth and the Delhi University. I got a rejection from the Delhi University in the course which I needed to join because of very high cutoff, instead of that I was getting admission in other course which I did not wanted.
