Likes

Teachers are good in nature and very supportive.
They help you to plan a better future give you many good ideas
Class room are big and well maintained , quality if food in canteen are also good.

Dislikes

Campus size is very small not a proper space to sit
There is no proper play ground and sports are not proper
Canteen is small and don't have proper sitting arrangements

-I chose this course because i want to be an economist. -faculty is descent and supportive but usually the take time to solve quarries. Student in this course is only 15-25 -teaching is average but teacher are very friendly some are strict. - it is not difficult to pass exam and exam were held on time.

Fees and Financial Aid

-They have fix fee structure but they are very strict towards fees you have to pay whole year fees at one time otherwise they don't allow you to attend examination. -you can apply any government scholarship like merit cum means ect. College facility fully support you for scholarship process.

Campus Life

-they conduct diwali fest and freshers party except they nothing i see till now -many books are there in library and in book bank but some are missing -they do not have proper play ground - there is music, drama, sports, dance, art all kind of society are available

Admission

-You must have more the 55% in class 12 and have maths in 12th -you have to gave a entrance test by going to ggsipu website fees of that test is 1200 and then after results came there is a council process held by this you can get admission in this college. My rank is 1562 and i easily get admission in this. -there is no reserved seats for any cast but late you can apply for scholarship from then you can get you fees money back. - no admission process is good. Very supportive management also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

Since I am from Arts deparemt, there were not much options and I did not sit in the placements I cannot say much about it here. Although there were seminars related to differents fellowship options such as Gandhi fellowship, Texah for India. Some people from my department got in them and they are doing fine as of now so yes there are option once your are in the campus you'll get to know about them.

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

Life at one of the top girls college in delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for my course, economics hons. , I would say is very relevant to our day to day life. The curriculum set by the university doesn't focus only on indian economics but economies through out the world. The suggested books are also the top books used in many international top universities. The curriculum provides us with a lot of real world applications through various case studies. For exams the delhi university guidlines are followed and I would say now the exams are based on more of practical usage and how materials taught in class are applied in real life.

Dyal Singh Placements aren't that hefty that I can boast a lot about them. Since I have already mentioned in previous section that I want the deepest knowledge of political science and the only way, one can gain that is by doing masters. This Collage is not so good. I got really a average rank In IPU CET ( 3k ) There are 3 ways through you can take admisson > IPU CET - most Convinent and easy - most of the paper work is done by IPU and FIMT > CUET - Can take admisson thorugh cuet - have to do the paper work and have to do the registration to IPU afterwards - Paper work is mostly done by FIMT > Direct admisson - Admisson is done on basis of 12th subject streem and percentage due to low rank i couldn't get admisson in other collages...Read More
