Likes

I like the cultural fest ubhdav which is celebrated every year in college.
I like the faculties a lot as they are very much dedicated in teaching.
I like the library a lot as it is very much friendly and the books are easily accessible.

Dislikes

I don't like the attendance criteria. We have to give reason every time we are absent even for one day.
The canteen is not very good. The food served is not fresh always.
Some classrooms are very badly maintained and the lights are also very less.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I had a great interest in engineering. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:10. That means every 10 students are under the supervision of a single faculty. Mostly all the faculty members are Ph.D. qualified. The difficulty level of the exam is very high and the semester exams are in every 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 58000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college according to the course is very affordable for all. The fee for two semesters is 58000 and is easy to pay using an online mode of payment. We get a UP scholarship and it is availed to us by the college itself.

Campus Life

The library is very vast. We get two books of our choice every semester and we have to return those books within that semester before the exams or after the exams. The classrooms are full of light and airy. Every year we have an annual sports fest in college. We have Google developer students club in our college. I am also a part of that club.

Admission

I took the admission through AKTU counseling and I gave the JEE entrance exam. The eligibility criteria are ranked based on the. I didn't avail of any reservation. I don't want any improvement in the admission process.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

There were better option like IET, Lucknow and private colleges in Noida but firstly I wanted government college and secondly near my home town. That's the best option was IET Lucknow but my score in jee mains that was 86 percentile didn't allow me to be in IET. And don't want to take a single drop for preparation. I cleared my 12th and gave April session JEE main exam. The admission process is very simple. After your JEE result keep eye on UPTU website for registration process. As soon as you register before counseling you will have option to choose list of your choice college. Then there will be 4 rounds of counseling if get the college accept it and you'll get seat allotment letter. My score in UPSEE entrance exam was quite good to get any college in the state but I made a choice for iert because of its legacy, and here we got enough time to pursue our hobbies and to study for next exams like GATE, ESE or UPSC.
