Likes

I liked that all the faculty members are almost studied from IIT.
Faculty members are quite helpful and placements are done nice.
Fests and programs are done in a mannerful way.

Dislikes

The structure of the college is not renovated
Workshops are not conducted and wifi is not there
RO water is also not available in the college

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Instrumentation and control engineering. It is a new course started in btech. It is a sub-branch of electronics engineering. It has a good scope in private companies like ADANI and TATA. The faculty is quite nice to us.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 63000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee of my college is 63000 which is affordable. We have computer labs, a cad lab, a library and much more. UP scholarship provided every year gives students their fees back so it's a good thing for students.

Campus Life

Life on campus would not be so cool as there are restrictions like schools. Workshops are not done as they are not in so good condition. Two to three fests happen yearly but that too in a chaotic way. Sports fest is quite good help by AKTU.

Admission

The admission process was through AKTU which is affiliated University of my college. I gave JEE exams for getting admission through AKTU. This exam is done on a national level and based on your rank you get the college and stream.

I am a B. Tech student so I am happy with my course. As we can see the world is full on dependent on network so I decide to choose computer science. Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Kiet is good choice if you are keeping it in options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

There were better option like IET, Lucknow and private colleges in Noida but firstly I wanted government college and secondly near my home town. That's the best option was IET Lucknow but my score in jee mains that was 86 percentile didn't allow me to be in IET. And don't want to take a single drop for preparation. I cleared my 12th and gave April session JEE main exam. The admission process is very simple. After your JEE result keep eye on UPTU website for registration process. As soon as you register before counseling you will have option to choose list of your choice college. Then there will be 4 rounds of counseling if get the college accept it and you'll get seat allotment letter. IERT a place to experience everything..

My score in UPSEE entrance exam was quite good to get any college in the state but I made a choice for iert because of its legacy, and here we got enough time to pursue our hobbies and to study for next exams like GATE, ESE or UPSC.
