Faculties are very strict. Girls are not allowed after 6pm from hostel.otherwise everything is ok

Course Curriculum Overview

I was passionate in the field of science, mainly in mathematics and chemistry, and that's why, I have chosen the course. i qualified KVPY in class XI, which makes a reservation in admission process. Classes are very good and air-conditioned. The faculties are great, they explain all things very deeply. Mentors are alloted to a group of 4 students, who can discuss problem with those mentors

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

from 4th semester students can sit in placement. this college promotes research work. so there are less no of peoples who actually sit for placements, others directly get admission in masters. highest package given was 60 lakhs and median was at 23 lakhs

total fees for bsc is 65,000/- it is government regulated institute, so fee hikes are less. many central government scholarship are available whereas fellowships are provided like for bsc it is 5000 per month

The entrance procedure for admission to the IISc B.Sc. program is as follows: Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible to apply. Online Registration: Candidates have to register themselves online on the IISc website and fill in the application form with all the necessary details. Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee online through net banking or debit/credit card. The application fee is non-refundable. Entrance Test: The entrance test is conducted in multiple cities across India. The test is usually held in May or June every year. Interview: Candidates who qualify in the entrance test are called for an interview at IISc Bangalore. Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects is that microbiology is a well developing scope of science in the world. We know how important this subject was when Covid had come to the world. It is related to this subject and find it's relevance everywhere. The course curriculum had started with basics of microbiology and microbial techniques later getting deeper into the subject. The syllabus is set by our college faculties and department head and it is very relevant for future studies. Improvement is needed in teaching methods. Otherwise it's a good place and subject. I applied to IISER Kolkata and got accepted. The choice was governed by IISc having a better ranking and being further away from home. No. I did not apply to any other colleges. Right now, officially, the two entry exams are JEE-Adv and IAT. In the past, KVPY, JEE-M and NEET were also options. For M tech in civil engineering you just need to have bachelors degree in relevant field and a valid gate score. Gate cutoff keeps on varying so can't tell exact number but for general category student gate score should be above 750. Application fee for Mtech is Rs 800 for General/OBC/EWS. Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Eligibility Should have passed 12th class or similar examination with Mathematics and two of Physics/Chemistry/Biology with 60% marks. Should have qualified atleast one of JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ KVPY(not there since last year)/ IAT/NEET in the year of admission These exams are held once every year. Difficulty level IAT<JEE MAINS< JEE ADVANCED for people inclined towards maths and NEET and IAT are almost at the same difficulty for people inclined towards biology but IAT has all PCMB subjects while NEET has only PCB The admission process is not that complicated.
