Course Curriculum Overview
In the Computer Science course's core curriculum, quite useful languages are taught. The curriculum gives you a good start to the C language after that C++ and OOPS and then DSA is also included in the curriculum. The web-development languages are also included and they are taught to a beginner's level. If one develops interests then he/she can dive deep into them.
Placement Experience
The average package of the college is around 13 Lakh per annum for the CSE branch. A lot of companies visit the campus for placements. However, due to the recession, the number of companies that visited the campus this year was reduced.
Fees and Financial Aid
One can get a scholarship from the State or National government, the college has a proper process to complete the procedure. Talking about the hike in fees the hostel fees has increased from 75k per sem to 1 lakh per sem.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is quite good. The campus size is small, but the buildings are built smartly. The library and a few labs are underground, and the cafe is good. But the campus is too small for many sports activities.
Hostel Facilities
Mess is excellent. It is far better than other colleges' mess. Hostels are also quite good and well-maintained. Students are not allowed to leave the campus after 10 pm. The hostel fees have increased from 75k to 1 lakh this year.
Admission
The admission process is based on either the 12th percentage or JEE mains rank. The admission form, fee details and application details can be found on the jiit website. Reservation is provided only to SC candidates.
