Liked the campus very much, Good atmosphere, very cool air inside the college and good ambience.
The College is built like a palace and its so njce to live a College life here.
Some faculties with our same language interact with us very nicely.

Dislikes

Some teachers won't teach as much as for our understanding.
Hostel warden is so cruel one named Salu E, im Vrindavan hostel(2023)
Didn't get my desired stream AIE, but which I got is so good that I like it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose automation and robotics engineering in the mechanics department because this stream was new in Amritapuri, Kollam. And it has more benefits than the ongoing computer science and artificial intelligence stream. Even though both have their own benefits. Term exams were between 4 months. One sem takes 4-5 months to complete. The faculties all are very good, interactive, and speak in English as well as native languages for certain students.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like IBM, Google, Amazon, Wipro, and so many companies offer good salary packages with I think, stipends. It's difficult to complete all eight semesters with good marks so as to attain a good CGPA to get a good job.

Placement Experience

3.5

From sem 6 onward placements start and all students will be eligible for the placements. They're saying that they provide good companies with an average of 3lakhs of packages per company. About 90% of students will get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

This College provides many scholarships if we get a good mark on the entrance exam. The campus provides many opportunities for scholarships and campus jobs as alumni. They also provide CIR to understand better knowledge in interviews and to get placed in a good company.

Campus Life

There are many clubs that are interactive and provide many extra points which at last contribution to the overall CGPA the annual fest is known as Vidyut, they'll be conducted mostly in March. Provides many other extracurricular activities and inter-amrita competitions.

Admission

Admission process was too tough even though they have AEEE entrance examinations to pass and get admission, mostly all the seats will be filled first and then the students getting average marks will be admitted through the entrance with higher fees slabs. Overall great University.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

Admission process in Amrita is done online but you need to provide physical copies of the ceirtificates to complete the admission procedures. Basically like everyone I also gave JEE but didnt manage to land a NIT or an IIT. After that among private colleges amrita seemed the best choice for me. Based on the ROI for me it atleast looked best option. AEEE rank cutoff for cse(ai) in slab 2 for all india is at 3.5k rank. Whereas for the first slab its 1.5k and 7k for third slab. I applied for VIT also but didnt go there despite securing a seat because of the huge crowd there. For jee mains cutoff for slab2 is 95-97 %ile whereas for first slab it is 98+ and for 3rd slab its clearing the cutoff basically....Read More
