College management needs to improve in extra curricular activities and campus recruitment facilities. Hostel and food facilities needs to be improved.
Entrance Preview
I took KCET,Was interested to pursue Engineering near my by native Bidar. And PDACE was one of the oldest and top college which has phd level lectures.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was in in two categories electronics and communication oriented subjects. We have provided the options to select two electives as per VTU rules and resulations.
Internships Opportunities
We had internal projects during 6th semester and final year project with ourselves with a team of 5 members. It was based in embedded system technology.
Placement Experience
Below were the companies came to campus during 2007-2008 TechMahindra and tcs and many placement company come in this college.
College Events
Golden Jubilee year very big celebration. College annual dayFreshers and farewell department level. And cultural and sports college level and department level competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was as per VTU college development fees refundable deposit. There were library fees as well which is feasible. Fees were expensive for a management seat.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes SBI and Canara bank used to provide education loans to all students which was helpful to specially poor students who wanted to pursue Engineering with their interest.
Campus Life
We have mingled with everyone without referring to any gender,ethnicity,race,religion,sexual orientation,politics and economic status in all Hostel Parties,workshops, cultural societies.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities were moderate. There were options for rooms from high price to low from single 15000 rupees, double 9500 and triple 8000 sharing as well.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah we have groups in various social networking sites. We are always keeping together in touch with most of our seniors,lectures and batchmates. It feels great to be in touch after so many years out of college life.
Exam Structure
For every 5 months there will be 3 internal tests and one main External VTU exam. So indeed it was hectic. These all including the Lab exams.
Faculty
Most of the faculty were minimun M.tech level and top most were Ph.d level. Very few were BE during that time in a brief the lecturing was detail oriented and very strict in internal exams.
