Likes

Placements- The placements of ECE, CS are fabulous and the average of other branches are far better than other colleges.
College Life- amazing college life with fests including Blitzchlag (Largest cultural fest of Rajasthan) and Sphinx (tech fest of mnit) which have pronites where you can enjoy a lot with your friends.
MNIT is located at center of Jaipur with GT and WTP nearby which gives one a various options to enjoy

Dislikes

Academics at Mnit are very tough you would hardly get any free time for yourself

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of MNIT is quite hard and it sometimes becomes hectic to manage all the things. The faculty is good enough to create interest in the subject. Almost all the professors are PhD holders and masters in their subject. You will be giving term exams every 2 months.

Internships Opportunities

All major companies including Google, Adobe, Texas Instruments, DShaw, and JP Morgan come to the campus for hiring students every year. The companies come to hire 3rd and 4th-year students for internships. For preparing students for the corporate sector various workshops are organised by the college.

Placement Experience

The placements at MNIT are amazing. Almost all major MNCs except Microsoft come every year for hiring purposes. In the ECE department the percentage of placed students was 100% in 2021. 3-4 students even got offers from Apple.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 62.5k per semester which was increased some time back. One can apply for various scholarships of which you will be informed on your mail ID. One can easily get loans from the campus itself.

Campus Life

The campus life of Mnit is what makes it the best. You will get ample opportunities to participate in various activities. The campus has 19 clubs including dance, literary, quiz, etc. MNIT has an immense library with books on various topics by many known authors. In sports, the campus is well facilitated with almost all games including badminton, football, volleyball, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility at mnit is very good. You will get a hostel including mess at around 85k per year and the quality of food is okayish. All hostels are provided with good internet connection and good drinking water supply. In first year currently there are 3memebers per room, from successive year one can be shifted to a single room.

Hostel Fee: INR 82000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is 12th pass any board with 75% marks in PCM Application Form- fees for each paper of jee mains is around 1500 and JOSSA conducts the examination every year in January and April The admission process is smooth but the waiting time in successive jossa rounds sometimes feels like a lot

internship opportunities in my college

Likes

I like the personal mentorship for every student
I like placement opportunities given to the student
i like the environment of the college and practical work

Dislikes

i dont like the class timings and length
i dont like the prayer system at morning
i dont like college timing and regularly wearing college dress

Placement Experience:

in semester 6th the student is eligible for campus placements one of the company is techo tech highest pacakge of my college is 72 lacs per annum and average package is 4 lacs per annum there is 100% placement rate

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

University of engineering and management jaipur is very good for faculty bahavior but it is not good for campus facilities and other facilities. Uem jaipur is not supported for students a event organised.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

The campus placements is very good and the head of placement department Dr Abhishek meel sir provide training to students about interview and how to make cv and resume for good industrial approach. The average package is 5 lpa to 8 lpa from tge campus placements program

A complete average College

Likes

Friendly Teachers - treat you warmly and respectfully.
No severe Attendance Criteria or Extra marks deduction.
Many Seminars included throughout the course.

Dislikes

Architectural issues, building without repairs and many damages, no parks or playground for sports and activities.
Damaged computers and conjusted computer labs.
Need to revise the syllabus for CSE/IT as it is not keeping up with current tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

College infrastructure and location is good and highly qualified professors are there with good mentorship quality.
Campus Life is engaging and supportive nature of professor helps us to improve more and More.
Faculties are expert in their curriculum and they are supportive also .

Dislikes

Placement services are good and also companies like Google and microsoft comes to visit our campus.
Quality of infrastructure is like a Nit as they focus on giving best building and infrastructure with good curriculum too. Advanced technologies and amenities are awesome.
Course curriculum is relevant and rigorous practice of real world applications problem helps in cracking big company's interview

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because here the course is relevant and infrastructure is good also they give scholarship to study here . Curriculum helps very well in improving real world applications in day to day life . Teaching methods are impressive but some times it looks like a burden as they give load to students in improving themselves so this thing they should improve . Timing of the exams are of 3 hours . Their exam pattern is like other government college but they take exam strictly. Difficulty level is medium level .

Honest and Truthful

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty team.
Well maintained campus with good labs, classrooms and internet connectivity.
Placement team puts efforts and many students get placed in reputed companies.

Dislikes

Cafeteria options and food quality can defineiely be improved.
Hostel infrastructure lacks proper maintenance and hygeine.
Limited exposure to hands in industry projects.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from fourth year. Most companies come for software development, data scientist, ai ml roles. The major recruiters are google, microsoft, deshaw, goldman sachs, flipkart,deloitte, hashedin, samsung. The highest package was 45 lakhs and average was around 13 lakhs.

Remarks:

College management Director was corrupted person he was the one who charged extra examination fees from student. Mark sheet of school and other important document has been kept by them till final year so that even if student wants to change the college they cannot.

Highly recommended

I had not applied for any other college. But I had choosed some other colleges like NIT allahabad, NIT Delhi and NIT kurukshetra in my jee council. But I got this college. And I think I got the best among them all. Eligibility critera was minimum 70% marks in 12th exams. Also, around 95 percentile in jee mains(for general) and 90 percentile around for sc/st. I am not aware of obc. However, this criteria change every year depending upon competition. Cut off was not given on marks, it was all about percentile, marks were out of 360. The people from outside were required to give some other exam. I don't have adequate knowledge of their procedure like what exam and cutoff....Read More

My first priority was to get mechanical engineering in NITK Suratkal, but i couldn't get a seat there as i didn't clear it's cutoff. I had applied for many universities but I am from Jaipur so finally I wanted MNIT Jaipur because it comes near me.
