Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum and faculty members can vary greatly depending on the institution and program you are considering. Generally, the curriculum will be designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their chosen field of study. It may include a mix of lectures, labs, discussions, and practical experiences, such as internships or research projects. The faculty members are the people responsible for teaching the courses and providing guidance and mentorship to students. They are usually experts in their respective fields and may have extensive experience in research, industry, or academia. Ideally, they will be passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping their students succeed. To get a sense of the course curriculum and faculty members, you can look at the program's website, read reviews from current or former students, and attend open houses or information sessions. Additionally, you may want to reach out to current students or faculty member

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure can vary greatly depending on the educational institution, program, and location. Generally, tuition fees are the main expense, but other expenses may include room and board, textbooks, supplies, and transportation. It's important to research the fees for the specific programs you are interested in to get a better idea of what to expect. Many institutions offer scholarships and financial assistance to help students pay for their education. Scholarships can be merit-based or need-based and may be awarded by the institution, government, or private organizations. Financial assistance may include grants, loans, work-study programs, and other forms of aid. To be eligible for scholarships and financial assistance, students typically need to submit a separate application or demonstrate financial need by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in the United States. It's important to research the different options and requirements for scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at campus can be an exciting and fulfilling experience for many students. It offers a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse community of peers and faculty members, participate in a variety of activities and events, and develop valuable skills and knowledge. Social life on campus can be an important aspect of the college experience. Many institutions offer a variety of clubs, organizations, and activities that cater to a wide range of interests, from sports and fitness to music, arts, and culture. These clubs and organizations provide a way for students to connect with others who share similar interests, make new friends, and develop important leadership and organizational skills. In addition to clubs and organizations, the infrastructure of the campus can also play an important role in student life. This includes physical facilities, such as classrooms, labs, libraries, and recreational spaces, as well as support services, such as health and wellness services, and counselling.

Admission

The admission process can vary depending on the educational institution and the program you are applying for. Generally, the process involves submitting an application along with any required documents, such as academic transcripts, test scores, letters of recommendation, and essays. Some institutions may also require an interview or an audition as part of the application process. If the program you are applying for requires an entrance exam, such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT, you will need to register for the exam and take it on the scheduled date. The exam scores are usually submitted along with your application. The cut-off for admission depends on a number of factors, including the number of available seats in the program, the number of applicants, and the competitiveness of the applicant pool. Generally, institutions will set a minimum requirement for test scores, GPA, and other factors, but meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission. It's important to research

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
