Review for Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology.

I choose civil engineering as I was passionate about this course and interest in it. There are 1 faculty for 20-25 students in my department. Sometimes the ratio is up and down because there are some faculty that are permanent and some places are changing constantly. All faculties are master holder in my department and only some faculty teaching are best and rest are general. There is a timely procedure for exam and it is very easy to pass if you have basic knowledge of the syllabus and subject .

You can only complete your internship in vacation if you are not doing internships through college which is one of the drawback from my perspective. If you are doing internships through college you can get some practical experience but not in your own favorite companies. My final year project was MULTI STOREY CAR PARKING WITH SOLAR PANEL. As the name suggested it car parking building but we provide something extra in it as the whole building run through solar energy.

There are placement in college but relatively less in ratio compared to total number of students. From 7th semester you can apply for campus selection for placement. There are some renowned company which visited Parul this year such as ADANI.PVT.LTD, L&T, etc. The ratio of selection is comparatively low. My plan for after degree is pursuing master in business administration.

Fees structure is around 45k for tuition fee in semester and remaining is for other curriculum activities and visit charges. There are no particular scholarship for out of state students as the scholarship is provided only in first year through 12th percentage and there is no extra scholarship opportunity in the college. There are company which are coming for college campus selection but I still have not been selected because company frequency is changing every year and selection ratio is less.

The annual fest name is DHOOM and tech fest name is TECHEXPO. DHOOM is generally organised in March and TECHEXPO is organised in February. There is library in which books are provided for every department and you can almost look for book from your designated topic. The classroom is good but there are some modification can be made in the classroom.

I came directly for admission from Maharashtra as my brother was also studying here and there is no entrance exam. I took admission through offline process and directly negotiating to admission cell. There are process of online admission but I do not know in detail. I also don't anything about reservations benefits as I come from open category. Yes I want to see that there should be a maximum number of students who can take admission as there is a lot of students and no time limit for admission.
