Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because this college is very close to my house and also due to its excellent placements in the mechanical engineering branch. Faculty to students ratio is very good. Faculties are highly qualified and completed their education at the reputed Institute of India. We have two exams in a semester one midsem and the other Endsem. And exams are easy one scores excellent cgpa by just studying 1 week before exams.

Class Size: 114Course Fees: INR 123000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A company like Deloitte, Tata steel, Amazon, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. comes for an internship core company and gives less stipend as compared to IT companies. One must focus on skills and work on projects as per the requirements of companies.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, one becomes eligible for placement. Companies like Atlassian, Tata steel, amazon, exon Mobil and psu visit our campus for placement highest package was 85lpa by Atlassian for sde roles and the placement percentage is 97.2%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study for a semester is Rs. 1,23,000 including hostel charges and there is a scholarship as per family income. If your family income is less than 1 lakh you will be exempted from tuition fees. Our college has a more than 97% placement rate with an average package of 14.2 LPA.

Campus Life

Our annual fest is Culfest which takes place in February and the technical fest is Ojas which takes place in April. Our central Library has lots of journals and books. Our classrooms are one of the best in India. Students get lots of opportunities to explore sports and other extracurricular activities. There are lots of clubs in college.

Hostel Facilities

Our room has ac, smart boards, and a well-furnished desk. Meal quality is also very good. The hostel is very nice and you will get a single room in the second year and very affordable. Hostel charges are 18,000 per semester.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for the course is the candidates must have passed 12th with PCM and have 75% in boards and have cleared JEE Mains with desired ranks as per college requirements. You can check its form at www.jeemain.nic.in and the application fee is Rs. 650.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
