Course Curriculum Overview

Progressive Education Society Modern College of Engineering is considered to be one of the best institutes for Computer Engineering students recently College acquired NAAC A++ Accreditation and in a few years, College will be completely Autonomous. The faculty is very cooperative in nature

The college has tie-ups with various companies through which an online placement drive takes place. The average placements package is 500000 and the highest package was 1700000. western union like companies to visit our campus for recruitment

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of the college is 100000 rupees for open category students but special backward class students get some additional benefits in the course cost as well as in percentage criteria. I pay 60000 through the open category

Campus Life

The college campus is huge. various activities generally are held in college and college supports a lot of young blood. last week NSS group have a 7-day camp to help needy people. Like this many social works are done through college

Admission

The Application process was simple. The criteria to get admission through CET is 95%+. It is considered to be one of the best colleges in Pune City in the middle of the City. The package is quite nice for a beginner

we can apply for PPO from sem 6 onwards , and for placements we can apply from start of 7th sem , with a great placement percenatage of above 80% and avg package of entc as 6lpa , and highest pack. of 61lpa in uber , mass recruiter as capgemini and kpit , the ones who have not got placed can opt for masters and specificvcation in some cources ...

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. I would rate the course curriculum high in terms of relevance and moderately high in terms of comprehensive. The topics covered are well aligned with current industry trends and technological advancements, especially in areas like 3d printing, data analysis. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
