Course Curriculum Overview

2

The tie-up with IBM and Samatrix for the specialization chosen was the reason I chose the course. The faculty-student ratio was meant to provide a 'one-on-one' teaching method which turned out to be 112:1 with every kid of the same specialization put together in the same classroom. The lack of proper communication about whether a professor would be there to take a lecture or not was absolutely unacceptable. Students waited for upwards of 45 minutes for a lecturer to walk in and start the class. If a lecturer didn't walk into the class within the first 10 minutes of the allotted time, the students should be dismissed and attendance for that lecture must be given. Also, the normalization of taking digital notes should be made common since it doesn't make sense to take handwritten notes for subjects like Computer Science which only has code (the same must apply to exams too) The exam schedule came in extremely late which was two days before it was supposed to begin which is unacceptable.

Placement Experience

2.5

The students become eligible for campus placements by the 6th semester. There are a handful of field visit that happens once in a blue moon with sometimes being completed unrelated to the course (as an example where the AI/ML students were taken to an automotive company) The highest package offered was 21 lacs while the average was 5 lacs No clue about the percentage of students who got placements yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is direct and clear without any hidden costs. The only issue faced is when the fees are to be paid before the next semester begins. Long lines at the accounts office to fill the fees coupled with the accountants telling students to come the next day to get their work done because there is 'too much work to be done' just shows how understaffed and slow the department is. The bus fees are a real pain to fill because of having to fill the transport form over and over every semester and then run the rounds of the offices hoping they would approve it as soon as possible.

Campus Life

1.5

There are mixed feelings about the aspect of campus life. The number of messages sent by the university regarding fests and things of that nature just overlook the areas where they otherwise lack which include proper communication and updating the existing amenities. Being a university inaugurated in 2013, it's still appealing about the lack of charging ports across the campus with virtually next to none in the lecture halls which also have non-functional projectors and poorly maintained computer systems in the labs. Also, the Wi-Fi speeds across campus are just atrocious, to say the least with speeds reaching a maximum of 7-12 Mbps. The availability of books pertaining to Ai and ML is virtually absent. Sports facilities are sufficient across campus. As far as I know, there is no website run by students.

Admission

The admission process was relatively smooth without much of a hassle. We were briefed about the requirements which included a minimum of scoring 50% in the Board examinations alongside having appeared in either the CUET/JEE examinations. We were led to the admissions office where we were briefed on what the course would consist of and the tie-ups the university supposedly has with reputed companies for placements. There was a bit of convincing involved with applying as early as possible since the seats were supposedly filling up whereas it remained open until the end of December.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement of the college is depriciating over the year and also i got some words of mouth that some of the top MnC like microsoft has banned this college so it is a very diosappinting for the students if it is a true rumour and also the atmosphere of the college is shaped by students itself so that is also depleting over the year i guess but the college is working on it so it would recover probably
