Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electronics and communication engineering (ECE) because I want to pursue my career in the government section or private section as well. The faculty members are very supportive in college and a little too strict in the initial two years just to get maximum academic achievements by students. The student ratio of boys to girls is 70:30. Almost 80% of the faculty members have done already their Ph.D. and some of them are still pursuing it. The term was obviously easier than what we get in the University exam but a decent 1 and a half hours of study can get you more than 75%.
Internships Opportunities
From the 6th semester companies came for an internships like Cisco, Samsung, and Wipro and they offer testing roles, developer roles, software quality analyst roles, and assistant roles. Projects in the field of artificial intelligence like face detection , audio tuning, counting of people, smart helmet , smart City and all these are awarded by honorable dean of college.
Placement Experience
Almost 95% of the student got campus placement in which every student are eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester and write from there students are getting an initial internships and then full-time jobs. Around 200 to 300 companies visit my college where almost all of the bulk-hiring companies came and some of the precious companies like Samsung, TCS, and Adobe Flipkart also came. The highest package of students in 2022 is 42 LPA in Amazon. The average package of the students is nearby 5.5 LPA. If any students have some skill then that student got placement 100% sure. My plan after getting the degree is to job in corporate. I am placed in dxc technology which has headquarters in Virginia.
Fees and Financial Aid
The 1st year fee was 147000 and then every next year it decreases by 5000. The scholarship opportunity was given by the state and Central Governments and for a general students can be achieved around 56000 and for SC ST students can achieve around 116000. There are other scholarships as well that can be benefited students through their performance. If a student scores more than 75% then for every 5% college will give 1000 to each student. Almost 95% of the student got campus selection with the highest of 42 LPA and the lowest of 3.6 LPA making an average of 5.2 LPA.
Campus Life
Life at the campus are very excellent and every student can join many clubs like robotics, innogeeks, ERP portal, and musical clubs and there are so many in each field. The library of KIET college is fantastic around 200 to 300 students can sit there and can study from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Every class has AC and a smart board. There are always sports events happening in the college like departments of football cricket tennis and other sports. Every year a mega sports event happens in the college in January. In which many institutions can participate and show their performance. Social groups like Sahara in which students go to teach in poor areas every day.
Admission
I had given the entrance exam of UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh state entrance examination) and details of this entrance exam can be found on aktu's official website( https://aktu.ac.in/) like eligibility for the course, application form, fee and other details. The reservation benefits are available according to the rank of the student and also based on caste. There are also fee waiver benefits like 5% in every college of aktu. These fee waiver benefits can be achieved by selecting a fee waiver seat in the counseling process.
