Choose this course as I was very much passionate about travelling and photography. The teaching faculty is average. Some teachers are well-educated and sincere. Some just bluff around. Exams were taken twice a year and were average to pass.

Fees were average not too high not too low, sometimes students were forced to pay fees as the staff used to insult them during class hours for fees during the pandemic time. Jobs were very limited, they were only for some 3-5 students and it

Technoutsav is one of the fests celebrated in the college during January. The library was good and all books were available at times. There was a shortage of amenities in the college no proper studio for mass media students

Admission

50% was the eligibility and the admission was hassle-free. There were no reservations as such. Improvement can be like the staff behaviour, they sound a bit rude to the students as if they are paying the fees for us to study. Other than this no issues

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course. It helped me in my personality building and also I learned new things like- Video and photo editing, handling cameras, communication skills, Acting, Advertisement writing and shooting, and many more. Class strength is good as they allow 25-30 students for one course. Faculties were too supportive and masters of their own fields. They take 2 internals and 1 final exam at the end of the semester which is of 6 months.

Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.
