Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My passion was to pursue B.Sc in botany following my aim to fetch a job in the research field. The faculty here are well qualified, approachable, have good experience and teaching methods are somewhat reliable. Exams are well scheduled but the academic year tends to be busy as more exams are conducted yearly for the betterment of student understanding and analysis. The lecturers are understanding and qualified enough to help you create a good career out of the course.

Placement Experience

3

As per my knowledge, students become eligible for placement at the 4th sem. The companies include Accenture, Cognizant, Hindustan Unilever, Oracle, Pharma agrochemicals, Biostadt, Karnataka Milk Factory, Anand milk Union Ltd. The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

SST is a new enginrering college that started its first batch in 2023. Since the first batch is still studying, final job placements have not happened yet. First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best part of Scaler School of Technology is its course and curriculum. The subjects we learn are very useful and match what tech companies are looking for today. Unlike other colleges, we don’t study topics like physics or chemistry that aren’t needed for computer science. Instead, we learn about things like blockchain, cybersecurity, machine learning, mechatronics, and more. This helps us keep up with the latest technology. Even though the schedule can be a bit busy, it’s worth it because we learn a lot. We always bring our laptops to class, which makes learning more practical . The curriculum and teaching style are already well-planned, and if anything needs to change, they fix it quickly . We have mid-term exams every 1.5 month and final exams every 3 months, which helps us stay on track.

the curriculum is prepared for us, it does not feel like we are ready yet (im in first year) we need need a tad more time and depth in areas like DSA for interviews. the exam frequency is high, timings feel rushed into, specially with how difficult the exam is. more exams are application and concept-based, they are designed to test your 100% knowledge of the subject being taught.
