Course Curriculum Overview
I have keen interest in computer science engineering. Couldn't get seat in BTech four year course in the particular stream, the next best alternative was this dual degree. Faculties are really good except few. Term exams are held after every 45 days.
Internships Opportunities
Internship offers do come in the pre-final year. Various contests or tests are conducted, accordingly internships are offered, although very few get internships with good stipend. Mass internships are also offered with no stipend.
Placement Experience
The placement here is good. Placement drive starts in the beginning of the final year that is from seventh semester in case of four year course or tenth semester in case of five year course (total of eleven semesters). Almost 85-90% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite high than government colleges but lower than some other private colleges. Details about various scholarships schemes with eligibility criteria are available on the website, changes are made periodically, therefore can't be specific about the scholarships. To my knowledge college used to provide scholarship to a student from each year with family annual income less than 2lakhs which is no longer available.
Campus Life
Annual fests and tech fests are top notch. The library is well set up with all books of requirement. The classrooms are well ventilated and AC ducts are installed. Regarding sports, it is a bit disappointing. Games like football or cricket can't be played due to lack of a bigger playground. Club activities are regular and highly engaging into different fields.
Admission
The admissions were done through counseling based on JEE results and 12th marks or 12th results alone ( as during pandemic). The application can be found online on the college website. The reservations are available for ST quota and army quota.
