Professors in our college are polite, helpful, and friendly. Semester exams are quite tough, but if you attend classes regularly and seriously, then it will be easy for you. Exams are held semester-wise. In one semester, there are two-mid terms and one end-term exam.There are good and well-behaved faculty members in our college. The semester exam level is not bad, and every student can do it. Teachers and professors are very helpful and are good enough are imparting the knowledge they possess. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for the indust

All students have to do internship or any project. It is compulsory for all Btech students. There is SIMENS centre ,where students do their projects . Every student must undergo some form of training or do an internship in the Summer break after the 4th semester. The duration has to be at least six weeks. There is a proper evaluation of the same in the 5th semester. You’ll have to submit a copy of your training/internship certificate, a professor would evaluate your work by asking questions and looking at any projects you’ve made during that time. This evaluation’s got credits, so pay attention to it.

Usually, the placement starts at the end of summer vacation after the 6th semester, around the end of July. Companies start visiting for recruitment from the start of fourth year. Some companies that offer internships to 3rd-year students, may offer pre-placement options to some students. The highest package offered was 1.25 Cr . Average package was 17 lpa and median package was 10 lpa . Percentage of students getting placement was about 80%.

Tution fees for one semester is approximately 60k. There are few types of scholarship also.The placement are good here . Average package is 17 lpa and median package is 10 lpa . So you can get good paying job here .

Life is good at NIT Kurukshetra. In fitst year you will enjoy a lot in day time ,but in Night there are hostel intime,8:30pm. Fresher party is quite good. There are mainly 3 fest conducted Utkarsh, Confluence, Techspardha. All books required will be provided by Libray. There are many technical and Non Technical clubs in NIT Kurushetra.

Hostel facility is ok ok ,not so good in first year. You will get triple sharing room in first year. Mess food is edible,not so good . Breakfast is nice . Mess menu is decided by mess committee formed by students. Mess committee can change menu any time . There are 10 boys hostel and 3 girls .

The admission process for NITs is through JEE mains . It is conducted 2 times in a year. Application form for JEE mains will be available on jeemains.nta.ac.in website.JEE mains is mainly conducted in month of January and April every year. After that qualifying students give JEE Advance for admission in IITs. After all these exams there is a counselling process to get admission in IITs or NITs through JOSSA. There is category reservation like 27% seats are reserved for OBC etc . The admission is smooth.But you may find some difficulties during counseling process.
