Course Curriculum Overview
As my college is affiliated with the Gurugram University, so according to the curriculum my college conducts sessional exams twice a semester and then final University exams. As B.Tech in CS is a very high-demand course nowadays that's why I choose this course.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is there in the 7th semester and also you can apply if you want to do any course. If you are satisfied with a college internship then go ahead if not you can choose your favorite company too for the internship.
Placement Experience
In the 7th semester, you are eligible for the placements. Byjus, Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini, etc. are visited every year. The highest package was 5600000, the average pack was 2200000 and the lowest package was 1200000. 70 to 80 percent of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for the B.Tech course is 85000 per year, if you want to opt hostel then it will be around 60000 per year and if you want to opt for bus service then it will be around 45000 per year. The overall expense will be 150000 per year either with bus service or hostel facility. Scholarship criteria are based on your 12th percentile. It should be above 75 percent to take the benefit of a healthy scholarship.
Campus Life
Techspardha, Hackerthon, Techfest are the events held in March or April month. The library contains all the important books regarding every course. Computer labs having 30 computers and the systems are very well updated. Sports meet is a program held in March every year and every Friday there is a period for sports.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel contains every type of room AC, and non-AC. Meal quality is good, there is a menu in the mess, and the mess staff is very kind, regular students can also enjoy the mess facility. The registration process is very simple just go to the college and visit in admin block and fill out the form for a hostel.
Admission
The eligibility of course is a student must be having PCM in his/her 12th class and percentage doesn't matter and he/she should be passed. Application form can be filled on college official site www.gitmgurgaon.com both date and fees is there. After starting the semester you will be supposed to give first sessional after one month and then second in next month then internal practical and external practical and then main University exam. Difficult level is moderate.
Faculty
The faculty of the Department of Engineering and Management is very helpful and kind and they all are highly experienced and expert in their fields and almost all the teachers have their PhD degrees.
Interview Experience
Criteria for admission is simple just visit on the site and register yourself and choose the course for which you are eligible and pay the online fees(registration) and then visit the college to satisfy yourself and take admission. The second way is visit the college and talk to admin department and check the college and take the admission.
