Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good as i am in cse brench its curriculum is good in term to increase your technical skills and make you fit for industry. They can remove the subject like engeenering practice from cs curriculum because it is unnecessary for them. The frequency pf exams is about almost. 1 month the level of difficulty is from medium to difficult.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are numerous internship opportunities in nit kurukshetra top companies come here to hire students for internship like Microsoft, Amazon, jp morgen, sun pharma etc. They offers roles in management, in robotics and automation etc. Projects and outcome are Fraud Detection Model (Goldman Sachs)- Used ML to flag suspicious transactions. -ERP Implementation (Deloitte) – Assisted in deploying SAP for a client

Placement Experience

4

The placement of nit kurukshetra is very good but it come little down in recent time. From 6 sem you are eligible for campus placement. There are various companies visited here like Microsoft, google, JP Morgen, Amazon etc the number pf offers are 604 . The highest package is about 64.80lakh and average package is 9 lakh overall for all bremch. The percentage pf student getting placed is 75 percent. My plan is to doing MBA in fiance after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees is 20400 for first sem and 22400 for second sem which does not includ hostel fees because i am for pwd category and same for sc, st category. For obc and genral it is 109100 for first sem and 82900 for second sem and it will same for all odd and even sem. Yes college provide the scholarship for top 3 for every branch which give 4000 to them.

Campus Life

3

My overall experience with campus is good. There are various clubs and society in college. There are two main events in college first is confulence which held in September. And second is Tech Sperdha which is tech fest held in march. There is also sports event called citius in February. The ramge and accessibility pf books is very good you cam take any book. There is not good technological provision in classrooms there is still a Black board but in some. Classas there is one digital screen amd Projector.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is triple seater hostels for first year boys but mostly get single seater rooms from second year. The overall facilities is good for triple seater rooms but in hostel 6 there is single seater room but they make it two seater which make is very congested. The food quality is good bit there is no non veg in mess. The registration process is simple after physical verification they allotted you the hostel then you can go to hostel where you have to pay hostel fees and they allot you the room. I don't have knowledge about pg rooms because i don't know any student who live by renting a pg or room

Admission

I took this college because the nit kurukshetra is one of top college in India for engeenering. I also applied dtu and i also get it in but not cs breach which is my priority. I also want to go iit but i am able to qualified the jee advance. The admission process is through josaa counseling the eligibility criteria is that you have qualify jee mains the cutoff rank is vary according to your category. Overall admission process is online and you have to come to at given date for physical verification of your documents.

Faculty

4

The ratio varies by department but is generally around 1:15 to 1:20, which is decent for an NIT.Many professors are approachable, especially for academically inclined students. Some professors in CSE, ECE, and Mechanical departments are well-regarded for their teaching and guidance. Some faculty members in non-core subjects (like humanities or general science) receive mixed reviews due to their teaching methods. The level of exam is good but of you studie in last 7 daus in midsem and 2 to 3 week for end. Sem they also give holidays for preparation and about 3 student is not. Able to clear the exam. Most of the subject are relevant for course but EP is irrelevant for cs branch

Night Life

3

While NIT Kurukshetra doesn’t have a bustling nightlife like big cities, students still find ways to unwind. Whether it’s hanging out at hostel canteens, late-night coding sessions, or casual walks Library is Open 24/7 for boys, for study at night Girls Hostel Timing 8:45 PM, after which girls need to be inside the hostel.Cafeterias & Canteens: The main campus canteen closes by 8:30 PM, but some hostel canteens stay open till midnight for snacks and beverages. Boys have flexibility, but girls need to be inside by 8:45 . Hostel Canteens Many hostel canteens serve maggi, sandwiches, and chai till midnight.
